First impressions of loganberry, sweet spice and plum. Opened up after an hour with notes of liquorice. Medium body and medium plus acidity, this wine has sumptuous tannins and a silky soft mouth feel with a long satisfying finish. Offering great value for money for this class of wine, I feel confident it will develop over the next 5-10 years.

This is a big wine, showing all the characteristics of a Barossa Valley Shiraz. A deep darp purple colour displaying blueberry and sweet spice on the nose with just a hint of vanilla, on the palate this wine bursts with dark fruit and a smoothness which is suprising considering its youth, alcohol not too promonent considering its 15.5% content and nice tannic structure, all the elements there for cellaring. This wine is good now but I think it will be very good in 5 to 10 years.

Lots of red fruit on the nose, rasberry and red cherry, a lot more fruit than I expected considering its relative age. On the palate at first is rather thin with more red fruit, opened up after an hour of decanting but found it overall disappointing seems to have a lack of structure.
