Hard to find fault. Well rounded, balanced, black fruit with earthy forest floor, eucalypsis, mint and long elegant finish. Decanted beforehand and opened beautifully as night progressed. Fruit still prominent, not diminished but won’t improve. Drink now or next few years.

11/13/20, 6:58 AM - We got it at Addy Bassins in Washington, DC, which has had one of the best Italian wine selections in the country (was also listed in last few years in an article on top Italian wine shops). Of course, they are strong in other regions’ wine as well.

We had our wine stored in temperature controlled cabinet the entire time, which would have helped its condition.

Hope your next one is better!
