Clear, pale, lemon green, tears, the nose is clean with medium intensity, aroma characteristics of herbs, green bell peppers, citrus and white flowers. On the palate it's off dry with medium acidity, low alcohol, medium body, medium flavor intensity with flavor characteristics of unripe pear, herbaceous, lime, some minerality and a medium finish. A very good mid-priced wine, can drink now or hold for a few more years.

Clear, purple red, medium (+) nose of chocolate, blackberry jam, sweet spices, fully developed and ready to drink, on the palate it's dry and full bodied with refreshing acidity, flavors of blueberry jam, blueberry, chocolate, some oak and vanilla, medium (-) tannins, in fact very well integrated, high alcohol, velvety texture and medium (+) finish, outstanding QPR, drink now.

The nose is dark fruits with a hint of cigar box, the palate is soft and smooth, a bit of liquorice with a very long finish, one of the best Riojas I ever had, wish can find more, truly enjoyable.

Complex and rich texture, dark fruits burst from the glass leaving a touch of leather and sweet oak on the finish, suprisingly was a good match with roasted raisin stuffed quail.

Drank 1 in 2005 which didn't impress me much, another recently, a lot of improvement, ripe and earthy nose, medium to full bodied, lots of dark fruits, tobacco and coffee, after two hours this was a wow. soft and well integrated tannins, long finish, amazing wine, I liked it better then the 1991 or 1997, will buy some more.
