Oh Yes, Thank you darling. What an amazing champagne. Beautiful light golden, delicate bubbles. Impossibly sweet nose, grilled citrus, ripe apple, honeydew melon, hint of fresh coffee, floral and deep.
Sweet and cool landing on the palate, fresh clean acidity, deep minerality, abundance of fresh white and yellow fruit. Long vibrant taste that folds out over half a minute.
This is a premium well made champagne from a producer that luckily stays under the radar in the market. Will buy a case of the current vintage tomorrow!
Just thankful. Wow.
Conservative score.

Low expectations for this one. But it is still very much vital. For a cru bourgeois it is good value. Neutral nose with classic notes of cedar, pencil shavings, some red fruit, mint, hint of licorice.
Nice flavors of cool fruit, solid body, long and solid with tangible tannins.
Probably won’t improve, but should keep well for a few more years.

On par with previous note. In a good phase.

9 april 2020 - Nose: Black cherry, earth, mushroom, forest floor, hint of smoke.
Taste: cool clear fruit, red berries, cassis. Firm and fresh. Fine tannins, oak induced. Long dry aftertaste.
Very nice indeed.

Barolo-ish nose of cedar, licorice and some floral notes. But it is lighter and fresh. In the mouth it shows a nice transparency, fresh red fruit, well structured tannins. Beautiful wine in a lovely stage of maturity right now.

Packs a lot of punch for “merely” a BB. Very nice chard, structured, ripe, good body, silky fruit and a rounded smooth finish.

Bright straw yellow. Primary nose, sharp and linear. Structured body. Angular. Fresh fruit, rich without being plump, solid backbone of broad spectrum acidity. Good power, long and dry.

Finished my stock of these. Long storage, unfortunately less joy than hoped for. But still nice things to say about it. Very nice tertiary aroma. Good spine, good body, just a tad short on freshness of the fruit, leaving it a little austere and dry, earthy.

Correct and precise. Well made and beautifully aged wine. Even better after an hour, which suggests that a decant will extract notes of red fruits and freshness.

Wow. Drinking window listed on this is way off. According to ct this should have been dead years ago. Instead it is as fresh as a spring flower. Berries, red fruit and fresh plum on the nose. Hint of fall leaves. On the palate fresh and youthful, cool bright fruit, a grip of earthy darkness, licorice and some herb notes. Modern Ribera. Good grip of tannins. Long, fruitful aftertaste. Would not be surprised if this holds up for another 10 years. Very nice surprise and stellar wine. Happy!

Clear color with beginning tones of brick. Beautiful nose of roses, sweet licorice, hint of tar. Subtle notes of aging. Very well structured wine, focused and firm body of fruit, lovely acidity and fine, but solid, tannins. Long taste. Long.
This is an amazing Barbaresco at its very peak as far as I am concerned. IMO it has many years ahead of istand it could achieve further smoothness as long as the beautiful fruit holds up to the firm acidity and tannins. And it probably will

Such a young beauty. Great power, floral, apples, cool, buttery nose. Feels loaded with fruit, minerals, acidity in a tangible mouthfeel I have rarely experienced. Dry fleshy back end with a potent, long aftertaste. The kind of revelation every wine lover seeks.

I seem to return to this wine every third week of October. Lol. Almost gave up on this after my last bottle was flawed. No worries. This was a beauty.
Very developed but still very fresh with raspberry, earthy notes, fine acidity and fine grained tannins. It is a developed style maybe not for everyone, but such elegance and finesse.

Lovely bottle. Seriously fine perfume of yellow fruit, toffee, caramelized lemon. Broad shouldered and solid mouthfeel, starting to develop tertiary notes of maturity. Good mineral backbone, nice acidity, very balanced.
For some reason I drank this over four days. Constantly developing I would dare to say it was at its best on day 3, and still very good on day 4.
I think that is a testament to its quality!

Deep rosé colour. Fresh nose, mixed red berries, somewhat mineral, solid backdrop of umami (licorice/toasted yeast). Full bodied and refreshing mouthfeel, very fresh, with ripe cherries and raspberries, vibrant minerality, core of mushroom umami, fresh with a tingling bite of tannins in the aftertaste. Had over several courses, both baked vegetables with oysters emulsion and parsley, grilled scallops and seared lamb with mushrooms, and it added elegance to each and every course. Such a beauty at 20 yrs!

My third bottle of this, and by far the best. Previously I have been slightly - very slightly- disappointed. Slightly too sweet fruit and a bit lacking on the acidity to my taste. This, though, had with foie gras on toast, was stunningly good. A great match for the sweetness and a perfect enhancer of the acidity. After, with Vietnamese summer rolls - perfection. Lovely deep maturity, full body, pleasant acidity. Great stuff.

Nose of dark ripe fruit, clay/earth. As previously noted, slightly unbalanced attack of acidity, landing like a pool ball on the palate. Recovers nicely, though. I kind of like it, even if it lessens the elegance of the wine. Medium long tart finish. Not the best showing of Graillot, but it stays in check.

Joy to the world! This baby sings to christmas! Golden color with fine crisp mousse, tiny bubbles in a fine stream. Amazing nose of roasted chestnuts, honey, apricot and baked lemon. And what a wine! Full bodied, tons of concentration, deep fruit, sparkling minerality and a massive backbone of acidity. Very complex, very long, very well put together. Had to turn the Xmas music off so I could take it all in. Peak champagne at the very top of its trajectory. Pure and overwhelming joy to drink! Happy Christmas!

Complex, broad shouldered champagne. Rich and bold, perfect balance of ripe fruit and gorgeous acidity. Really a well made PN bubbly.
Next day much of the fizz is out, and acidity with it. It gives way to sweet, delicious fruit, such lovely ripeness. Much prefer first day balance and complexity, and second day evolution just underscores intellectually how the balance of those two powers came together yesterday.
