- Brick color with medium forming legs. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Round texture with a long finish - Drank without decanting with a pork roast dinner. A little tannic and dry at first, but then opened up. Very pleasant with the meal and enjoyed by our guests. Excellent value. Dark berry taste with a subtle earthiness underneath that does not dominate. Looking forward to dink my other bottles next year or so. It has not peaked.

Very pleasant drinking. Smooth from the start. Drank with some cheese. Doesn’t need a heavy meal to enjoy like some bordeauxs. Good for offering friends

Some other notes suggested cellaring for a few years. I would drink now and next year. I don’t taste a depth or complexity that is going to greatly change. Not a long finish, just very enjoyable now.

Still could age. Did not open ahead and probably should have decanted it. Opened from my cellar for guests after drinking some ordinary wines at a large party. Tannins were still strong. Will wait awhile for next bottle and decant.

- Brick color. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Juicy texture with a medium finish - Drank without decanting first time and there was a raw edge. Drank over next two days and it was a different wine. Definitely needs to be decanted for several hours. Was smooth and a very nice finish. I will let other bottles age since it should improve. Not a PNP to drink and better with a meal.

Nice nose to start. Tasted of blackberry and fruit. Started out very dry, but then softened after an hour with a steak dinner. Not complex and short finish. Overall enjoyable and a good value for around $15.

Did not decant which may have helped it. Worth trying. Enjoyable fruit forward drink. May be better the second day.

Disappointing for the price. Light without much finish. A friend brought it to enjoy and I did not know the price. After drinking it I looked it up. I would have guessed wine of half the price of $40. Nose was not very interesting and the wine offered nothing special. I don't expect the aging to improve it greatly. I was not a question of it getting softer or smother over time, just did not have much body.

This is a sleeper. New consultant the last few years has jumped the chateau forward. 2016 tastings range from 92-96 from Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast and James Suckling. This wine is a steal at these prices for 2015 and 2016 futures. I am buying 2016 futures at $28.95 per bottle. Get it now Ratings are going to be going up as this wine is discovered!
