At 1st open from a magnum, very good structure but muted fruit. Have had several over the past few years, so I thought this wine is fading and best to consume the few remaining. So it's been sitting uncorked (not decanted) on this Thanksgiving Day for several hours. Returned for another glass about 10 hours later after opening ( with a couple of glasses during the afternoon) and this wine is beginning to sing. Very pleasantly surprised. Spring Mountain fruit showing its pedigree and complexity. Decanting for a few hours a must. If you choose not to decant, you will be placed in a time out to reflect on your misbehavior. 92-93 with much gas left in the tank.
