Decated for 5 hours before serving, blueberry and other dark red fruit scents, also leather. Still ruby red, many years to go but ready to drink, soft tannins, good body and acidity. It was a great pleasure with food, but could go alone.

This wine is really a great expression of Brazilian Tannat. Soft tannins, good acidity, secondary scents on the nose, great with food or alone, it does not matter.

Brazilian Pinot Noir made on the hills of Rio Grande do Sul, by italian migrants, surprisingly tasted very much like a Bourgogne Pinot Noir for mass consumption. Interesting for the price tag and location. Goes very well with food.

Marvelous effort from Milantino. Tannins were very soft, perfectly balanced with the acidity and alcohol, dark red fruit, chocolate and mint very strong, both on nose and palate. Ready to drink now. It is likely to last on the bottle, but with this one, why wait?

Still a little green, decanted for 6 hours before consumption, high acidity, dark read fruit, leather, tobacco scents. Went perfectly with roasted lamb. Still have 2 bottles, will wait another 3 years before opening the next one ...

Ruby Red, it needed a few hours to soften tannins, then nice red fruit and musk scents appeared. Acidity was adequate. At this point, this wine is at its top.

This wine should be well past its top of course, the color showed it, but surprisingly tannins were soft, we could feel scents of leather and mushroons, very insteresting. It went lovely with food. Good surprise, no defects.

Traditional Rioja, not very strong on the nose, but well rounded and ready to drink. Red ripe fruit, leather, spices , all with little touches, nothing standing out too much. Excellent with red meat, such as lamb.

Ready to drink, tannins completely developed although no signs of decline, people attending loved it most (in opposition to a Pauillac contender, whose tannins were showing), acidity high, luxurious on the mouth, delivering chocolate, ripe red fruit and spices scents. Well balanced, a great wine.

Still a sleeper, not sou intense on the nose, it needs to warm in the glass and decant for several hours to show its character, tobacco, leather, floral, ripe red fruit, spices very good complexity and acidity. Still very young, tannins softened with time in the glass.

Surprisingly good. This was the last bottle I had, tannins have softened a lot since the last bottle, the wine was medium strong on the nose, with scents of wet dirt and leather. Not overly complex. I don't think this will last long, but it is at its peak now, and the other bottles were opened too early for sure.

Astonishing sparkling wine from a domain that only makes vintage wines, this one stayed 4 years in the bottle before coming to market. Very fresh, lots of bubbles, almost disapears in the palate, shows medium to full body (for a sparkling wine), lots of fresh red fruit in the nose. very insteresting.
