Tart, but pleasurable, taste which I think and hope means that this is too early to open the bottle. That said, it was still enjoyable to drink.

Lots and Lots of fruit with a terrific balance. Plum, for sure, and other dark, rich fruit that I can't name at all. Very, very good.

Super deal fro $8. Lighter fruit taste, with acidity. Complemented the salmon dish we ate with it. Would definitely recommend at this price.

Nose: mishmash of fruit, a bit funky.

Taste: Cherry with a bite, a bit too cinnamon spicy for me taste.

Also not sure it really improved with age.

Nose: light pepper, with dark raspberry.

Taste: dark red fruits with wild berry, medium body and finish.

Served with Med. chicken with lots of spices and it paired well.

Minimal decanting, might have opened more and made me wonder if this will continue to age and taste even better.

Smell was pinot but not concentrated, but not too sweet, not too fruity.

In retrospect, the nose told me that the taste might be a off. It took about half hour for the taste to come together: good fruit, plummy cherry. Decent value but not a special event wine.

It's a different grape from what I am used to drinking, it's definitely spicey, and on the bold side. Agree with other posts that in no way would expect this to be in the Top 100 wines of 2010.

Color: has to be one of the lightest pinots I've seen, especially pouring.

Nose: not much to speak of.

Taste: different, tart, acidic, with a quip of a finish.

This is the first wine that I didn't love for the money from Kermit Lynch. Oh well, KL had a nice, long, run with high quality wines for the price for me.

I do wonder if they will get better or worse with time...KL initially told me that the drinking window was 09-13.

Nose: tight, rose floral, slightly musty

Taste: medium body, tart off cherry (not in a bad way), cranberry, with a very short finish.

Ate with an egg quiche, bacon, and some Manchego cheese which makes almost every red wine taste better.

I wonder if this wine is on the downside of it's peak?

Still good enough....

Smell: sounds weird, but sweet bark and dark fruit

Taste: smooth, integrated, still has some tannins, blackberries.

I'm consistently happy with Ferrari Carano price/value ratio. Very good wine for under $20 (got it on sale).
