Popped and poured. Some browning on the color. Black and red fruits on the nose. Medium bodied palate with a good acid backbone. A tarry astringency on the long finish.

Popped and poured. Garnet in color without much bricking. Nose is somewhat austere. Palate is medium in body and has a pronounced sour cherry vibe - the acid on the verge of being out of balance. Long finish.

Popped and poured. Some bricking on the rim of the glass. Nose was a little muted but the palate was full bodied and well balanced with a good acid backbone. Long finish. I feel like this wine is still fresh will last even longer.

Popped and poured. Initially stingy on the nose and palate but opened up over the course of an hour. Slight bricking on the edges of the glass with a muted aroma. Black fruit on the medium weight palate with a medium-long finish. A beautifully balanced wine, albeit a little subtle. Probably still needs more time to develop secondary and tertiary aromas and flavors.

Kept at 55ºF & 65% humidity. Dark color with slight bricking at the edges. Nose was a little austere. Mid palate was medium-full bodied and expressive of black fruit. Medium-long finish with some drying tannins.

Dark cherry and earthy funk (manure even). Balanced with a long, flinty finish. Lovely stuff!

Earthy funk and red fruit on the nose. Sour cherry on the mid-weight palate. Long finish. I dare say Burgundian. Drinking beautifully. Wish I bought more!!!

Wonderfully complex nose and palate showing secondary and tertiary aromas and flavors. Long, long finish. Lovely juice at it's peak.

Light in color with hardly any bricking. Strawberry and a little forest floor on the nose. Light body on the palate, muted fruit, medium-long finish, and hard tannins (this is why I knocked the rating a bit). Hopefully the tannins will integrate with more time.

Burnt amber color on the edges of the glass. Prunes and menthol on the nose. Slight medicinal quality on the palate. Past it's prime I'm afraid.

Great burgundian nose of damp earth, forest floor and red fruit. Good mid-palate concentration balanced beautifully with acid. Medium to long finish with a slight bitterness at the end (from wood?). Great with roast chicken!
