Straw yellow, lively fine mousse; apples, lemons, biscuits, minerals; apple/lemony, minerally, light body, crisp acidity, lingering finish.
Lively bubbles went up my nose. Fruity with yeasty, biscuit note best described by other reviewers as brioche. Chalky minerality and palate-cleansing array of malic, tartaric and citric acids give this structure. Went well with lobster salad. Recommended.

Good colour and plummy fruit with hints of game, herbs and smoke. Refined yet silky and easy-to-drink. Excellent value, will buy again!

Ripe sour cherry flavour. The acidity makes it quite food-friendly with burgers as the name indicates. Lighter than Erv's original blend.

Decanted 2 hrs. Subtle prune, cherry, burnt sugar and earthy flavours with seamless acidity. Drinking nicely, can go longer. Enjoyed with stilton.

Ripe and brooding with noticeable alcohol and tannins. A big wine that goes with food due to the acidity.

Fragrant nose of cherries and strawberries with a hint of sweaty gym clothes. Flavour didn't follow however as it was somewhat lean. Still good for the midweek.
