Amberish in color, nose full of honey, white flowers and toast. Very fine mousse, very well developed palate that is both deep and wide with loads of shaved nuts, very long length with plenty of minerals. Stayed in top form for over 3hours, this is not just a champagne but can drink as a wine. Marvelous.

Only 302 bottles made for this rare Gevrey, opened for 4 hours before consumption. Deep red with purplish hue, nose with slight residue oak and lots of evening scented stock and perfume. Very young, ripe and full of sap, looking foward to see how this wine will evolve in the medium term.

Slight pigeon blood in color, what a nose! Amazing even by Leroy standard, slow oxed for 3hours before consumption, palate is very dense yet without weight, loads of zap, good grip and very long length, can any red burgundy get better than this? Slight unresolved tannins, starting to get very interesting yet can keep for the much longer term.

This wine evolved quite nicely, very well made for a 07 with ripe berries, the signature Leroy floral nose. Not super complex but an overachiever for a village, and with a price tag to match.

Drank from double mag, a big and robust red, great to accompany food than to drink by itself. Not sure if its at a dumb phase or not, not as impressive as I recall drinking abt 7-8years ago, problem for me is the acidity level is rather low for a Bordeaux.

Decanted for 3 hours before consumption, still very big and bold, still a tad alcoholic. Not your average Merlot! But at this point it is too young to be fully enjoyed, I would leave this alone for a very long time.

A soft and easy going red, not a great vintage so the structure is soft and approachable. At the current moment there is too much vanilla oak.

First time to try the 163 in mag form, a wow wine, quite a step up from 750. All the lovely toastiness, yeast and minerals elevated to another level, gee need to find more!

Still young and fresh, lemony nose with decent substance, lots of minerality but slightly low in acidity, still a very enjoyable Chablis and very well made for the vintage.

Dark red in color, pretty focused nose with lots of darker red fruit. Medium palate with decent substance for its level if nothing more, a very good village wine.

Interesting soft and supple garage wine from St Emilion. Not bold and big but made in an elegant way, reasonably priced and very small production.

This is a pleasant surprise hidden for abt 5-6 years in the cellar, the wine gained a lot of weight over the years, lovely and deep Gevrey nose, slightly meaty, palate with good depth and layers, fantastic wine for the value.

Over ripe with no acidity, dark and completely opaque, very un-burgundy like.

Had it at the bellagio in Como, the sommelier told me not to decant it and try it, indeed it is surpringly supple and approachable for a Monfortino. Nose with deep red plummy fruit, not the very dark fruit. Medium palate with decent structure but without the usual power and structure that you would expect from a Monfortino, very burgundian Monfortino.

Still the ultimate Aligote, with a staggering market price too. Even the non wine lovers noticed the flamboyant Leroy white wine nose is not your average white. Flinty nose with a touch of durian, nutty and tropical fruit. Medium bodied with fresh acidity and lots of minerals.

Excellent condition, very fresh light yellow in color, nose with fresh citrus fruit, slight damp earth, butter and white flowers. Everyone thought this was a 04 or 06. Medium plus palate with great balance and nice acidity lift. If the wine got more stuffings and it will be easily a 95+ wine.

Rare Domaine bottling mostly allocated to Japan, under 600 bottles made. Burgnick sums it up well, as compared to the 13 bottling, this is much better with better concentration, pepper, meaty, slight gaminess and lots of potential ahead.

Light golden color, popped and poured already showing lots of popcorn, butter, flint and sulphur. Palate mirrors the nose with slightly ripe sweet fruit at the back, long finish filled with minerals. Another flamboyant white from Madam Leroy.

This is holding up well and drinking well. Deep red color with slightly floral nose, VR spices and forest floor. Medium plus palate with good fruit and acidity, medium finish. Not a blockbuster but a good 92 rouge.

Drank alongside 06 Colombiere, the nose is quite similar but the palate is definitely deeper with more layers of structures. Pure fruited with lovely and deep floral nose, drinking well now and should be able to age for the medium term.

Drank with the wine maker, surprisingly this bottle is holding up well after 6 years! Very pure fruited, fragrant with red floral notes, light palate. Better drink now than later.

Again much better and fresher than the last bottle, with much more weight and intensity than the normal village. Flinty popcorn nose, fresh citrus fruit, palate with toast and finish with butter and nuts. Awespiring village!

Still the benchmark chambolle, 12 with very good fruit and intensity, with a tad too much toast. Gonna be very good when the new oak subsides. Drank along side 13.

Opened at 630 and started to drink at 9pm, dark ruby color, wonderful nose of osmanthus, chocolate and tea. Dark red fruit, good intensity, great fruit and acidity balance, decent finish, if this is indication of all 14 reds, then 14 reds r really good.

Still very good but the nose is slightly more recessed than the last bottle, probably peaked for the vintage, time to drink up.

Popped and poured, very nutty nose, almost like shaved nuts. Light golden color, mature with slight oxidative notes. Mature yet lively with fine bubbles, the nutty nose is mesmerizing, only slight downside is that the wine started to drop after 3 hours, only becoz I saved a few sips til the end, wonderful champagne.

Nose quite restrained at first took an hour to open up to typical Prieure Roch fashion. Red fruit, red flowers and potpourri. Palate is decent but not super structured, very good to drink now.

Not the freshest bottle that I have had but still good. Deep red with pigeon blood, nose of dark red fruit, lead pencil and slight chalk. Palate with good energy and secondary flavors, drinking very well and no need to wait for this kind of bottle condition.

Awespiring burgundy red, superb nose with very deep floral nose, slight orange peel intertwined with undergrowth. Palate is the same floral palate like the nose, driving with loads of stuffings, great balance with nice acidity lift. Perhaps will be even better with a few more years of age but it is very alluring now.

Drank alongside Georges Jayer's 99 Ech, and I like this wine better, opened for 3 hours prior to consumption. The nose can hardly get any better for a burgundy red, with ripe plummy fruit and deep floral nose and loads of spices. Very solid palate with loads of stuffings and great balance, very long finish with excellent definition, simply superb.

Breathed for 3 hours before consumption alongside DRC Ech 99. Starting to develop secondary flavors, with ripe plummy fruit, red floral overtones, spices. Medium plus palate with decent stuffings and drive, medium finish with minerals. Glad to be able to try this alongside DRC Ech 99, but I do prefer DRC over this outrageously overpriced bottle.

Tasted from magnum, light golden in color, toasty bready nose with nuts. All things well integrated and not tired at all. Still got nice and fine bubbles, well delineated palate and good acidity lift at the end, a stunner.
