Drank at Wit & Wisdom Sonoma for our 26th anniversary. Still going very strong, not quite youthful, but definitely not 26. Sublime nose, good fruit, nice acid, secondary characteristics.
Rosé
Hot dang, this is tasty! The pinot gives it such a rounded, fruity flavor, and the color is sublime.

Maybe it’s the variety or maybe it’s the winemaking, but I just don’t like this. It’s overly floral and melon-y very acidic, and has no sweetness that feels like it’s needed to balance all of it out.

Pretty certain this was corked.

Not in bad shape. Still a little fruit. Highly drinkable at this age

I feel like this should be better. It’s not bad, but it’s short on flavor.

Dark red in the glass. Nose is a bit restrained, with roses and raspberry. This is in prime drinking territory, early for Rhys as others have noted. Good balance, nice acidity, restrained black fruit. Very long finish

Overall a nice wine. Very light color, barely a color Grapefruit, lychee, grass on the nose. Strong acidity, well-balanced, mouth-watering, tropical fruits

This is still going strong it doesn’t taste old at all. Not much fruit, but good acid, wonderful balance all give it a nice freshness.

Maybe this is an off bottle, but my notes are not consistent with others. It’s very thin on the palate, off balance, little fruit. Unusual.

An interesting wine. Lots of Brett on the nose to me, from a very strong bandage smell. Chewy texture, almost thick, but not in a syrupy way. Heavy tannins, mouth-coating. Deep cherry, sour funk, meat, licorice. Very acidic.
White
This is still going strong. Some older notes, like sherry, but for sure grapefruit, melon on the nose. Acidity is very strong, in a good way. It’s insanely deep. Very rich texture. Grapefruit, apple pie spices, anise. It tastes young.

Really shows how well-made SB can easily age.
White
I thought time might help, but I still don’t like this. It’s disjointed. Overly green like a NZ sauv blanc, but also rich like a CA sauv blanc. The two don’t play well together. N

I agree with the other assessments. I wouldn’t call this Zin if I didn’t see the label. It’s more raisin-y and less peppery. It’s not bad, but a bit one-note.
Red
This is simply delicious and drinking beautifully.

This really needs time to open up. It was better on the second day. Cellar it for a while.

Still quite youthful in many ways. It took a while to open up, and is a bit soft, but the fruit is still sweet, and there’s a plush earthiness that is very appealing.
Red
Very much a Russian River Valley take on Sonoma Coast fruit.
Red
Medium ruby red. Sweet and seductive nose of blueberry, strawberry, cherry, roses. Medium body on the palate with focused acidity, some tannin. Smooth and silky, lots of fruit. Sour cherry, strawberry. Not much on the midpalate and a short finish. This is probably at its peak, but is drinking beautifully.

This is way too young. It was disjointed and thin on day one. On day two, half the bottle left, it’s opened up - bold, balanced, and tasty.

This has no Zin characteristic at all, other than it being a red wine. It tastes like Grenache and just isn’t enjoyable. Not much fruit, overwhelmed by the earthiness, not balanced. Disappointing.
Red
Really good for the price. Smooth mouthfeel with some light acidity and low tannins. A hint of oak, good fruit. Much better on the second day.
