Corked -- straight from the winery too, disappointing

3/1/17, 10:24 AM - I should've followed up a while back, I did contact the winery soon after and they sent me a replacement from a later vintage.

Tried at a tasting dinner for Sinskey and thought it was great. Not typically a big pinot noir drinker but this had great depth, a lively nose and was the wine of the night even against their POV and Stag's Leap -- both of which likely need to sit longer (2010 and 2009 respectively)

brought to a restaurant and had without the opportunity to decant. sat opened for about 45 minutes prior to tasting though. i enjoyed the bottle and did not think it was on its deathbed as some have thought possible. agree that it didn't have as lengthy of a finish as i would have liked, however was nice and mellow and was a good pairing with a short rib ragu entree.

7/16/14, 8:20 AM - had another bottle in July '14 and if anything I thought it improved...more enjoyable the second time around.
