decanted for 1.5. hours. Good, basic Brunello. Some time still left for it

Took a bit to hit its stride. As a previous note said, it got better as it warmed from cellar to room temperature. This is a good example of why you buy blind wines. Great value.

Bold and grenache like, which threw me following a different, superb PN. Will evaluate on it's own next time.

about 1.5 hours of air in the bottle after pouring off a glass. really good and will benefit more from further aging or longer decant.

last minute substitute for a flawed BDX. Completely the opposite in style, but delish

A bit darker and sweeter than past bottles. Tasted perfectly fresh, just sweeter than what I prefer and remember from previous bottles.
Red
poured out a glass and let air in the bottle for 1.5 hours. Best Rhys pinot noir I've ever had. That AH-HA moment as to why Rhys is so loved.

Not normally a fan of FLX reds (and I'm a local). This is bright and juicy. Nicely done, Ravines.

1 hour decant. No evidence of fading
Red
revisited after several years. drinking beautifully

When I first got this I liked it and reloaded. Lately it's been too big, Syrah like in a way I don't care for. Recently had a glass, recorked and refrigerated over night. Much better on day 2. So, assume either long decant or wait.

thru aerator, 4 hour decant. Soft, low tannins, almost Petit Verdot like. Enjoyed it, but would never have thought it was a cult Napa cab.
