If I didn't drink over a 3 day period, I wouldn't have remembered how good it was. First day popped and poured without decant. Drank over an hour and seemed hot and one dimensional. Day two a little better still some heat and subdued forward fruit. Day 3 a completely different wine with heavy forward fruit and long finish. Needs an aeration and 2 hr decant to really open up.

Drinking very well now. Several years in the cellar helped this vintage. Blackberry, plum, jammy long finish with a velvety mouth feel. Happy I have 12 bottles left. A bargain at $22.
