Believe it or not, this wine was still drinking well -- I had bought it on release, stored it perfectly for all these years and just found it in my cellar. Opened it assuming the worst, gave it a quick decant and waited...in the glass it burned off an initial funk and left me with a smooth, elegant, very tasty wine, with plum, earth and mineral flavors.
