Zero personality. Would have been ok for 10, not 20.

Shockingly good for the clearance price of 7 bucks. Should have bought more. At age 11 this is lovely.

Excellent cahors. Funky, earthy, leather and herbs, very old world, great acid balance. I think they stopped making this… why?

After 15 yrs in cellar this was disappointing. Intensity and acid was not really enjoyable. Not bad - just not nearly what it should be. Left a bit in bottle and tried next night, no improvement. One dimensional.

More intense upon opening than last time. Serious leather and dirt. Better/softer after 2 days open.

Decent, drinkable, but dull. Good traditional style with acid, not too much oak, not overly extracted, and no fake additive flavor. But the fruit is not high quality. Really nothing special to keep you coming back for it.

Intense, tannic, high acid. I don't mind those things as long as they are balanced with fruit and other components. This is not.

Hints of herbs and funk to start, restrained fruit, but drying astringent tannins on finish ruin it.

Meh. Typical WA state wine. Was dark and a bit medicinal 1st night, a bit better 2 days later. On the heavy side.

Decent for $12 on clearance. Still a little primary, maybe needs a year. Sort of a crowd pleaser style blend, with a little dose of sangiovese character.

Well done if you like the heavy style. Hot, dark fruit. Pass.

OK for $10 on clearance, but no reason to rebuy. A bit awkward. Probably some syrah in there that fights with the sangio.

Just OK for $10. Starts out nice, but there's an unpleasant acidity on the finish. Supposedly 90% cabernet but doesn't taste like it. I appreciate that it's not overly modern or extracted, but just not that enjoyable.

Primary now, too young, but give it 1-2 years in cellar, might get good.

Ok, stoney, minerals, proper old world style. But the acid is a bit harsh.

Lovely, fully integrated, smooth as silk, still good color and gentle fruit after 20 years in cellar. Only knock is it’s kind of generic, and lacked complexity. Delicious.

Excellent. Significant acid, taught, berry fruit, cherry, vegetal. Cab franc stands out, then some other unusual flavors. A tad alcoholic. Aged nicely.

Unique, yes, to the point of being strange. Reminiscent of a sangria punch. Does have some of the typical negroamaro characteristics, but this is a pass.
