Took about an hour to open up. Tight at first with mouth drying tannins at the tip. Good length and fruits with time. Was drinking well at hour 2 when the bottle was finished.

Wow. What a difference from 5 years. Still shows tannin on the finish but it’s well integrated with fruit. I really wish that I had bought more. At $41, I would trade for $100+ burgandy and bordeaux in my cellar.

Lots of acidity on the finish. Toasty nose but not apparent at the tip, overwhelmed by the zingy finish. There is some length to the fruit. Did show a bit more as it warmed. It will be interesting to see how this develops with some bottle age.
