I am a big fan of the Leeuwin Art Chardonnay and have tasted this vintage several times over the past 10 years with mixed results. Some of the bottles I opened deserved a rating of 95 points. But more than one bottle has developed a carmel color and corresponding oxidized/over-the-top butterscotch taste. Maybe some of the bottles I acquired had not be stored properly. Regardless, I think WS was over optimistic in giving this a drink window of 2004-2020.
