decanted for 7h, no residual bottle stink. The wine is very clearly at the end of the drinking window, while the first impression is still meaty and savoury, it tends to be quite a bit weaker in mid palate and length. Acidity is still somewhat visible, as are the tannins. This is an old wine and it feels like an old wine - but nevertheless a great wine. drink up if you have some left.

Much too young at this stage. Don't open until 2022 at least. Massive amounts of acidity need to mellow.

brilliant wine however at the tail end of the drinking window. Good acidity left, some tannins but starting to disintegrate unfortunately. Other than that, a typical grange - full body, great length and outstanding balance. Decanted for 8h.

outstanding, inky wine with great tannin structure and acidity left - probably another 3-5 years in the cellar

outstanding expression of fruit in nose and palate, great balance of acidity and silky tannins, very well integrated. A fantastic wine at its peak.

light on the rim with some browning starting; medium legs
nose is strong and typical Coonawarra Shiraz - red fruit, eucalyptus, white pepper
palate supports the nose with some stewed fruit, well-integrated oak notes, soft ripe tannins, some acidity left
medium-long finish with distinct pepper notes at the end. Excellent drinking condition.

Still going strong - quite some sediment in the bottle and with a somewhat subdued nose, but the palate is still strong.

At the tail end of the drinking window - almost no tannins left, high acidity - becoming disintegrated.

very complex, both fruit and very savoury forest notes. At 3 years of age, it shows an incredible length with some initial black cherry and then a long tail of forest floor, mushrooms, and other savoury notes. Brilliant.

Medium body, more Shiraz then Durif. Complex palate of cranberries, liquorice, black fruit, dark chocolate and spice, great balance, minimal and slightly chalky tannins left as well as well-integrated acidity. Medium length and good complexity. A very good example of a well-aged Shiraz/Durif. Matched with sous vide emu steaks and pumpkin mash.

Tannins almost gone but some good acidity left. the rim is showing some age. on the nose dominating dark fruits and in particular cassis with some savoury, earthy tones. A hint of Coonawarra-style minty freshness. The palate is no surprise either: cassis, cedar, spice, leather, mint, medium-strong oak. Reasonably well balanced, medium length, medium intensity. A good wine but not something to keep much longer.

took a while of decanting (~3h). Before, it smelled as if it was corked but after a while in the decanter it improved significantly.

medium ruby, medium legs. Nose of red and black fruit (raspberry, blackberry), some spice and oak, medium intensity. High acidity and ripe silky tannins create good balance with a nice long finish. Red and black fruits on the palate, black pepper, spices, vanilla, and well-integrated oak. This is a very good example of a cold-climate Shiraz from Western Australia and will cellar nicely for several years.

not a very strong nose at all (after decanting), fruity on the palate, with spice and cedar wood. The aftertaste is bready. Good and drinkable now.

Great to drink now but with some ageing potential left. Cool climate, a lot of fresh fruit on the nose and on the palate. Some spices, a bit of toasted oak, well integrated tannins. A fantastic wine at this price point

delicious late harvest Viognier from the (Plunkett) Fowles vineyards north of Melbourne. great counterpoint to the creamy rice pudding we had with it, the acidity cut straight through the milk fat.

very drinkable, slightly sweet with supporting acidity. Great atypical Australian Riesling, reminiscent of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region of Germany. This wine has quite a few more years ahead - drinks fine now but might develop nicely over the next 5-7 years.

very young wine, fruit-forward, easily quaffable. Brings some earthy tones and a distinct bread flavour after being open for a few hours. A good example for a typical Australian Shiraz, surprisingly light with some texture. Not sure how well it will age though, but we shall see.

Great Australian Shiraz, very nice fruit and well-integrated tannins. Great now - but how fantastic will this be in 7-10 years?

Young but very drinkable. Spicy nose, medium complexity, low tannins. Bit of alcohol but not too much. Ripe fruits, blackcurrant on the nose, fruity on the tongue, licorice, chocolate and hint of leather. Probably won't improve much by cellaring.
