This is a nice surprise. Parker's tasting window expires in 2014, but there is still life left in what I believe is the first vintage of this tiny estate that produced only 125 cases. I believe this is 100% merlot. It has everything I look for in a BDX, which is ripe with some weight on the palette, but with secondary notes on the nose. Tannins are soft and fully resolved. Drank a little more than half the bottle last night. Poured the remaining half or so into a half bottle and stuffed the cork into the neck.

Still drinking great. Remember buying a case of this for $30 bottle during the Great Recession. To me, this is the best “value” alternative to Aubert.

A return to form for this wine after a stewey, pruney bottle in August. This bottle, which came from the same case as previous bottles, was a leaker unlike previous bottles, but did not show worse for the wear.
