This is the real deal. Love the grippy tannins on the finish. I liked it substantially more on day 2 than day 1.

This was quite lovely with a wonderfully dry, tannic grip at the end. Very satisfying. I will be happy to buy this again.

Quite good this time around. I'd say pop one if you have one. Not bursting in fruit but not lacking either. Understated elegance. Wife loves it as well.

Consistent with prior 97 point tasting note. I followed this up with a 2009 Feret Lambert, which was decent. The Anderson was in a completely different league.

I'm either really impressed by Columbia Crest's wines or I think they are crap. This was was impressive. Really just delicious and refreshing. Hits the raspberry end of the fruit spectrum with lively acidity that activates the top and bottom of the tongue. Clean on the finish. The oak treatment is a touch on the cheapie deapie side but I didn't really notice it until I paid close attention. Very nice.

Has a bit of an unpleasant funk on the nose and the palate. I've smelled/tasted this on some other burgundies and even a domestic pinot here or there. I don't know if this is brett or if this is something inherent in this particular clone but either way I'm not a big fan. As the previous reviewer wrote a bit lean and a bit tart as well. I'm not so experienced on aging wines so I don't know if time would improve the situation.

TIM-BERRRR! Wow was that a wallop of wood. The juice is concentrated like rocket fuel and tastes like medicine- Robitussin perhaps? I will pawn the rest of the bottle off to my party guests tomorrow.

Home run. Black fruits, dry, with a beautiful oak treatment on the back end. I really enjoyed both this and the less expensive Vranec.

So this is pretty awesome juice. It's got the merlot blueberries thing going on but also is very fleshy- by which I mean the tannins feel as if they are derived primarily from the skins and stems and not external oak (although of course there is oak treatment). Acidity is lively. Finish is nice and dry. I could drink this all day long.

This is an inexpensive bordeaux, but it is not to be taken lightly. It blew away some marinade chicken my wife and I were sharing. It needs to be paired with something very hearty. Honestly the wine was a bit much for me. The acidity in particular was dialed up higher than I can tolerate. The alcohol level is stated at 14.5% but felt like more than that. The tannins were also very stark and grating on the finish. Lately, my palate has been inclined toward "pretty" wines. This one is a bruiser and not to my liking.

At first, tannic, tart and tight, but evolved over the evening into an extremely satisfying wine. Tannins remain a bit sharp on the finish. This wine probably needs a couple more years. If you do drink, give it a nice slow-ox.

A bit less enjoyable than last time. I noticed some low level bretty-ness in this one which was slightly detracting. Still very nice cut and length. Chalkiness is still very apparent in this one.

Heavily reduced. Might have been a very nice wine if it wasn't reeking of sulphur. Supposedly this dissipates over time but not soon enough to keep the wine from ruining dinner.

Good enough for a Wednesday night. Soft, round plush fruit. Oak treatment isn't the most elegant but gets the job done. Definitely no shame in drinking this.

I continue to love this wine and others I've had from Gascogne. Powerful tropical fruit, fresh melons, zippy acidity and a refreshing finish. Wonderful everyday white wine and crazy cheap for the quality.

Nice pungent perfume but with a trace of melted plastic on the back end. On the palate, a bit herbal and lacking in fruit. Decent good concentration and length. I know these are supposed to age well but there isn't much fruit there so I don't see how the future will yield anything other than autumnal secondary and tertiary notes. It did get a bit more invigorated with air. I found this wine to be interesting intellectually but not "fun." My wife was really impressed though.

Stunning Pinot Noir. Brilliant, juicy ripe fruit which stays on the red side of the spectrum. Packed with glycerin, but doesn't cross the line into confectionary sweetness. Galloni has it right here.

Holy shit this is great juice for the price. Fruit-forward, but with great length. Not much in the way of tannin or oak treatment but the fruit is so pure, I didn't mind it too much. I could see some folks finding it a touch too sweet, but it stayed on the right side of the fence for me. I was very impressed. Looking at the CT notes, perhaps I'm alone. The alcohol levels are high, but I didn't notice while I was drinking- only afterwards :)

Overwhelming burnt plastic on the nose which carries through to the palate. I can't get past it. Is this Brett? Damn shame cause I was looking forward to trying a nice burg with some age on it.

Refreshing acidity lights up the sides of the tongue. This is a clean, refreshing drink shining with green fruits and floral elements. Just a touch tart. It's everything that I need out of a white wine and a crazy value at the $7.49 Binny's has this at right now.

Iron, spice and refreshing acidity with some drying tannin on the interior of the cheeks and on the back end. While not "bad", there just isn't very much fruit there anymore. Drink up.

Fleshy, concentrated, cool-climate pinot noir with low alcohol. You get all of the fruit without the heat or the confection. Drinking beautifully right now. I think this is the best wine I've had in a few months.

PS- Mindmuse's tasting note nails it completely. I can tell we were drinking the same wine.

Black cherry/boysenberry, a touch of raw meat/iron (like a syrah), but high-toned (bordering on thin), wonderful balance of tannin and acidity. Think I might pick up a bottle of the 2009 given this experience and Dr. Jay's barrel score.

Quite a satisying drink. Bright cherries and a firm backbone of new oak (but not overdone). I can see myself buying more of this for guests or nights when I want to kill a quality bottle with my wife in one sitting without worrying about the price.

Shockingingly dark in the pour. Palate is almost impenetratable at first, but then reveals interlocking layers of mysterious dark fruits. It features a great spine and ample glycerin without giving way into confection. In short, a really wonderful and serious PN.

I bought a case of this based on the RMP review. That was a mistake. The wine has a prominent pepper element and is overall thin and not especially interesting. . It's fine for weeknight drinking, but it's certainly not memorable in any way.
