Thin and funky, but not in a good way (I like fun funk). Not sure if this was flawed, but seem to remember the last bottle being similar. If the next is, we'll just keep opening the last two and pour it all down the drain if they're the same.

Corked, or something. Blew off a little, but also some fusel alcohol notes. Others were fine

Absolutely awfully sweet. Really undrinkable for us.

Corked; not terribly. Tasted okay, but undrinkable for the nose. Think this may have been the second such bottle of six -- anyone else have a similar occurrence? Garagiste, BTW.

Billed by Mr. Rimmerman of Gargiste as a low sugar bubbly, we found this decidedly not so. Label has some bare-bones nutritional data which says 0.94 g sugar per glass (148ml). Is this accurate? Is that sweet? I don't know, but it didn't taste very dry for something labelled 'Skinny.'

Opened up nicely over a couple-few days. Agree with others about the tartness, but it became rounder and much less so while re-corked (no vacuvin). Maybe hold the other five for a few years....

Still drinking well from our cellar, but unfortunately this was the last bottle(: Paired very well with a leftover braised chuck roast recombined into a meat heavy red sauce -- very little tomato sauce -- and thin, julienned potatoes from the mandolin, roasted. Also followed well with after dinner tabac. Now for a little of the other smoke..... Tannins mellow, but still holding on. A little smoke, a little earth, some fruit left. Meat wine. Also, agree with someone else's comment about a little jammy fruitiness.

Would have to say, for my tase, this is too oxidized at this point. It's rare that I let wine get too old;)

Delicious. Paired with lamb ragout, went wonderfully. Put cork back in and drank the last glass with turkey soup the next day: don't think it improved with overnight oxidation. Still quite young, but agree with previous taster that it already seems to be in a good place. Have six, will maybe box three and bin three....

A little fruity for the wife and me, although it has some acid to finish with. Perhaps we'll like it more with a little more age....

Not sure if this first bottle was off, or just super-funky. We like barnyard noses and funky tastes, but this was a bit much. Two more bottles, so we'll see. Interested to hear others impressions....

Virginie, the Lullaby winemaker, quite liked this. When I said I though it was a little tight, she said she liked them that way. Next time I'll decant or otherwise aerate.

Seemed almost sweet after going through Venturi into decanter. Then quickly tannins reemerged -- strange. Then at end of bottle, end of meal, maybe 1-2 hours in, there was a delightful earthiness that emerged. Strange evolution that I'm not sure of what to make....

Seemed /slightly/ more rounded and more body than previous vintages. Still delicious. Paired well with simply prepared steelhead, as it always does with most seafood. We go through 2+ cases of this a year when we can get it. A perennial Rimmerman favourite at $10/bottle.

Big wine; rather tannic at first opening. Pair with big meat?

Very bitter and seemed off (we usually like the Cornelissen oddities of taste and smell).

Medium bodied, straight ahead chardonnay. A little citrus. Oak is not too strong. Solid.

Took backpacking after decanting into 750ml plastic whiskey bottle; must've left too much headspace air as it oxidized a bit too much on the hike in. Ready to drink, this would indicate to me, since I didn't leave much air in there.

Typical Muscadet, but not as mineral driven as the Perraud that we've been drinking a lot of the last couple years.

Perceived some sourness, especially just after opening, that reminded me of a sour belgian beer, e.g. a lambic. Good and zippy if you like this, or maybe it was an odd bottle variation. Definitely some tart fruit, however.

Nice wine. Body somewhat between a lighter French Burgundy and a heavier Willamette valley pinot. Fairly mellow on the tannins and acidity, and Lauren appreciated this more than I did.
