This has really improved since my bottle in 2011. Some nice Pinot spice adds a bit of complexity.

Color of a dark Pinot. Toasty oak, leafy, slightly tart fruit, a little bitter on the finish. Too much oak for the fruit but better than I expected. my parents brought this back from China.

Amazing. Drinking better than the 05 Grange (which is 3x the price). Rich, voluptuous, a bit sweet, great with my ribeye.

Decanted 3 hours, still very tight with mostly oak showing and the vegetal aromas I get from Don Melchor. Over the next 5 hours slowly opened up, eventually showing rich chocolate and fruit. Still very young, hold. Pretty good, but I ordered this based on the Parker score and I don't see where that came from.

Worth $15 if I had bought it at a local wine shop, but I find it hard to believe this is a repackaged $40 bottle. Really disappointed I bought a whole case of this based on the WineAccess offer. I recently had a couple $30ish 2009 Sonoma Coast pinots that were much better. Clean, tasty fruit but not much complexity.

Very little nose and doesn't stand out, but it tastes like syrah and makes a fine table wine

Strong barnyard on opening, poured a glass and put the rest in the fridge. Let the glass sit for 2 hours and it was good but still a little funk. The last glass on night 2 was the best, fruit and charcoal with no more barnyard. I recommend a long decant.

My favorite champagne I've had. I typically find even expensive champagne a bit boring, but this one was very complex and delicious. The Pinot in it really comes through.

Improved in the decanter throughout dinner, but was drinking best when I came back to it 3 hours later, still in the decanter. Tart red fruit, pretty dry.
