Amazing wine for the cost. At least this particular bottle. No signs of oxidation or deterioration.

It's hard to believe how good this is for the price. Not profound but a truly delicious wine.

Probably the finest Chassagne I've ever tasted.
I don't have an explanation for why this was so outstanding. Tasted more like a great puligny or Batard.

Huge
First night too closed and tannic to drink. Left it out uncorked and room temperature for 24 hours. Much better but still a monster. Had tobacco, currant fruit and some eucalyptus/ spiciness. Probably needs 4 or 5 more years.

Took an 45 minutes to really open up. It was awesome on release but the fruit is waning some. Still good acidity. That was my last one.

Sort of halfway between a nice white burgundy and a oaked California chardonnay. Probably could use another year of ageing.

Finally. May be better than 88, but I wasn't in the best frame of mind at this point. Too subjective.

Once again, oxidized. More like an oloroso sherry, except not as flavorful.

On the lean side, no sign of oxidation, good mineral-like notes. How long can this last?

Impressive. It should be noted that it improved after being open for two days and stored in the refrigerator but not vacu-vinned. Smooth tannins wonderful young fruit.

A bit young but after an hour of open bottle time demonstrated a almost ripe cherries with a moderate finish. Leave open 3 hours or wait 2-3 years.

Although over the hill somewhat it was still fun to drink with flowers and tropical fruits on the nose, nice finish and enough acid not to be cloying

I was totally surprised based on prior reviews. Could there have been poor storage conditions before purchase in some of these. This wine had very balanced fruit and tannins with some tertiary nuances. Very supple but good backbone. I had one aboout a year or so ago and it tasted tired also.

This needs a minimum of 3 hours to interact with the atmosphere. If you drink it without letting it aerate properly it will suffer (as will you).
