Quick decant and we drank this over a few hours. Really nice wine with tons of potential. Drinking good now but will improve with a few years.

Pop and pour. Needs a decant. Tannic but good balance and fruit. Amazed this is from PA. A food wine.

This didn't stand out to me. It was an OK Rosé. A bit too dry with not enough flavor. Not off-putting and did go well with our food.

8/18/14, 7:35 PM - ccotton8 --- Their chards are very, very good. This Rosé just didn't do it for me.

Just great. Immaculate balance, no rough edges. Just as good if not better than the '10 that I really enjoyed. Perhaps less oak than that one. Aside from the Ramey SVD and Liquid Farm, there aren't any auto-buy domestic chardonnays for me.

3/9/14, 2:38 PM - ALR6767 --- have you tried one of Joe Davis' Arcadian Chards? Most of his chards come from Sleepy Hollow Vineyard. They are very age-worthy. I loved the Liquid Farms I have tasted but still enjoy the Arcadian.

The tropical dominated nose is highlighted by star fruit, orange zest, jasmine and lingering minerality. A white peach and stone fruit attack leads to a juicy balanced mouth of guava and lemon-lime. The integrated minerality gives way to a long, crisp finish of orange peel and Key Lime

one of the best Sauvignon Blancs I have ever tasted in California

12/23/13, 5:46 PM - I scored this one a 90 - but agree on the profile. My notes were almost the same as yours. It was really nice. I would buy more.

Pyramid Valley Tasting with winemaker Mike Weersing (Arlequin Wine Merchant, San Francisco, California): Light lemon yellow color with clear meniscus; very herbal, witch hazel, green herb nose; oily textured, herbal, lemon thyme, rosemary, lemon oil, mineral palate; medium finish (picked in 4 passes over one and a half months)

7/30/10, 5:22 PM - I normally agree with Richard - but in this case NOT. There was way too much green bell pepper for my taste. Overpowered the other flavors. I don't mind herbal - but, to me, this was just too much.

excellent first release.

7/24/10, 5:24 PM - Not the first release. Paul put out a 2007 of le Souvenir. And I have one in my cellar. His Pinots are also excellent.
