Unctuous, waxy fruit feel in mouth. Golden in color and great fruit flavor, mostly Golden Delicious and Apricot. Well-balanced and delicious served with a ripe Port Salut and water crackers. Bought direct from the winery last summer for a steal of a price per bottle! Loved it!

This wine was a real treat while available at Costco. The vintage is holding up well over time. Still smooth drinking right out of the bottle upon opening. Spanish wines are some of the best values available these days. No bitter tannins and lovely dark red color. Fruit flavors remain consistent over time.

The Dry Vignoles Wine from Les Bourgeois is an excellent wine and from a more obscure grape varietal. Distinct White Wine. Dry, smooth finish. Easy sipping white we bought at the vineyard in 2015.

Last Chrysalis Vintage I have enjoyed and the only one really since first visiting the winery in the late 90's. This wine aged well, with plenty of balanced fruit and acidity. Wish I had more of it.

Kept wine too long, I am afraid. Bought it while visiting Burgundy in 2005 and held it too long. Way past peak, but still drinkable. Aged to a beautiful golden color, and any acidity associated with a young white burgundy was long gone.

Bought this wine in Burgundy in 2005 during vacation and should have drunk it years ago. It is hard to say what it owuld have tasted like in its prime. Nevertheless, it was still drinkable and I enjoyed it with a nice strip steak hot off the grill. It was still a very good wine, with its tannins just about vanished. It had a nice finish and my only regret remains that I didn't drink this burgundy sooner.

Vignoles is a clone grape variety that is a big grape in middle America, and in Missouri. We tasted this at the winery in 2015 and liked it very much. Aging in the cellar has impacted the wine favorably in that it is very smooth and a great sipping wine. I had it with some good cheddar cheese and crackers and that was a good match. I intend to finish my allocation of this wine soon as I don't think aging will assist it much longer. Dry, tangy soft white with a smooth short finish. I give it an 89.
The wine looks silver colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like orange blossom, honeydew and light toast. It tastes like mineral. The body is light. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.

I so enjoyed my first tastings of the 2007 Napa Cabernet Sauvignons in 2011, that I immediately started purchasing those few bottles left in circulation I could find. My first bottle tasted was the Louis Martini. The same vintner's Sonoma County version is decidedly inferior in taste and quality. This Napa County wine is excellent, with mature, softened tannins and full flavor. I had it with a grilled rib eye for Christmas Dinner and it was superb. Highly recommended.

This was the last bottle of this great vintage of Washington Cab Sauv in my cellar. The prior two I had opened had gone so past peak that they were raisin like in taste and brown in shade. This one held up and was, although past peak, still quite drinkable with a smoked grilled strip steak. The tannins had virtually disappeared and yet the result was still quite characteristic of a good Washington Cab. Except for the prior two bottles, this was a great vintage for the Columbia Crest label.

Tannins have softened to nothing. Dark red in the glass with fruit very predominant. Wine has to be approaching past peak status. But, it's holding on for now and remains quite quaffable.

Been drinking this wine for two years now and am down to last four bottles. Great buy at Costco for over three years but gone now. Smooth, fruit taste with soft tannins. Drinkable upon opening and getting better in the glass. Deep purple in the glass with a long finish. A great wine.

Wine is past peak but still enjoyable. Turned to dark gold in the glass, but fruit still holding and has a crisp finish. Enjoyed more when younger.

This wine held up beautifully. Served it to friends after dinner where i served two other Spanish wines and it was delightful. Nice balance of acidity and fruit. Went well with London Broil. Full bodied and balanced. Easy to drink.

Declining, but still quite nice. 2001 was a great year for Napa Cab. Tannins still present but subdued. Tones of black fruit, leather, earthy finish. Great with sirlloin steak and caesar salad.

Great wine. Declining, but still full flavor and smooth. Tannins reduced to nearly non-existent. Notes of cherry, leather and great with grilled sirloin.

great unoaked chardonnay! citrus overtones, like the acid level. As I grow in appreciation of the Burgundy style, I find I like this style of chardonnay. Recommended.

Aged beautifully, tannins softened and wine very smooth to drink. Usual Cab notes of cedar, leather and bramble. Deep garnet with medium legs. Great with grilled beef.

Initial notes upon decanting was the wine smelled a little musty. Upon breathing, the musty note dissipated and the wine opened up beautifully. Light tannins, deep purple in color, oak, cedar and blue fruits in abundance. Long finish and enjoyable.

Excellent value for New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc! Fresh, acid close to perfect, lemony, some minerailty on the nose. It's not Kim Crawford, but it's half the price.
