This is the best of the vintage. Tannins have really calmed down allowing the fruit to really shine. Loads of red ripe fruits with a hint of tobacco and cedar showing through. Finish was impressive and really stood up to a long dinner. Everyone was very impressed with this wine. Enough said-getting more!

Fantastic wine and drinks great with food or without food. Dark black look to it with lots of blackberry and tobacco flavors. Finish was very long and truly and enjoyable experience. Over the evening, detected a bit of chocolate taste to it. Delicious.

Just a great wine! Popped and poured for dinner. Deep dark inky look to it. Loads of ripe fruits such raspberries and cherries, a hint of tobacco and cassis coming through. Tannins have really subsided and this is in the drinking window. Yet St. Eden has many more years left in the cellar. Finish was very long and satisfying. Great experience.

Unbelievable wine! So good. The best of all Hundred Acre vineyards. Deep dark ink look to it. Tannins are present but very complex with load or red ripe fruits. Finish is extraordinarily long and just a delight to drink. One of the best Hundred Acres I have ever had!

This wine is in peak perfection. Very dark complex look to it. Loads or red ripe fruits, with a plum finish making this wine very delightful. Tannins have softened but are still present giving this wine lots of years ahead of it in the cellar. Sadly, my only bottle of this vintage.

This wine is in peak perfection right now. Perfect combination of juicy red ripe fruits with diminished tannins. Long finish was over a minute. The vintage has plenty of years left in it, so can be cellared for another 5-10 years! Great wine experience.

Decanted for about two hours before dinner. This wine still has many many years of cellaring left. Garnet red look to it with notes of cedar, tobacco and blackberry fruit in the taste. Drank side by side with a 1990 Chateau Lafite Rothschild. LaTour is much more muscular than Lafite. Almost complex compared to it. Wonderful experience with prime rib! Saddened that there are no more 1995s in my possession.

This wine is in such great shape! Tannins have loosened, fruits are ever present plus a hint of chocolate, and cedar on the finish. The vintage has quite a few years left to cellar so no rush on the other few bottles! Enjoy with food or on its own. Delightful experience.

Very good bottle of wine. Dark only black look to it. Fruits are still very upfront with notes of ripe red raspberries, cherries, and blackberries. Detected a hint of cedar and tobacco. Finish was long and slow. Tannins have really let go and this wine did not evolve much over the evening. Great with food and great by itself. Good wine experience!

Deep dark black only look to it. Nose was filled with lots different red ripe fruits. Full of tannins and even several hours after dinner, this vintage was still going strong. Finish was long and had hints of cedar and tobacco on the end. Wonderful wine by itself or with food.

Great Chablis. Nice acidic quality to it and straw like color. Tannins are starting to loosen but not by much! Paired really well with Risotto and stood by itself to drink. This is a great experience for Chablis!

Wow! This is good wine. Popped a coravined bottle of wine from several months ago. Still very tight and tannic. Loads of red ripe fruits and a dark inky black look to it. Finish was classic HA and extremely long. Sad to have had the last bottle of this vintage.

This wine is in great shape! Decanted about 20 minutes due to a broken cork. Wine was vibrant, lots of fruit, leather and chocolate mouthfeel. Planning to have it with our dinner, but never got to dinner with it. Consumed in about an hour! Great French Bordeaux!

This is one good Chablis. Really complex and has more depth than most Chablis. Much smoother and only at the end is the finish more in the style of Chablis. Not as acidic or sharp as most Chablis are. Truly a delightful bottle of wine. Was the WOTN amongst a bunch of white burgundies!

What an experience! This wine was totally ready to be drank. Decanted before dinner and really took to the food from a Spanish Steakhouse. Dark inky look. Massive tannins and long long finish. Smells of bunches of red ripe fruits and even a floral scent to it. Wine developed over the meal and was standing out during dessert! Great experience!

Really tight bottle of wine. Took a long time to open up and develop but when it did open up, it was very nice. Similar to an iron fist in a velvet glove analogy. Very strong and tannic but ended with a long flowery finish. Has a lot more time to cellar but is drinking fantastic right now. Probably will decant next bottle when I have it.

Really opened up into classic new world Pinot. Great nose and lush red ripe fruit to the taste. Tannins were very evident since this is a young wine. Not sure how it will evolve over time but certainly has a few more years to develop.

Really tight bottle of Pinot. Took over an hour to get this wine to loosen up. Still very young. Would decant it if I open any more in the next year or two. Once it did loosen up, lots of crisp red cherries and raspberries on the tongue. Still too young but showed lots of promise. First bottle of this brand.

Put this Magnum up against Hundred Acre Few and Far Between 2009 and Kayli Morgan 2009. Popped and poured from Magnum. Classic Schrader taste full of fruit. Urged by others to decant this massive wine due to still feeling a bit holed up. Wine opened up but then after several hours, wine began to fade from a fruit bomb to a more soft silky wine. Felt it was a 98 after initial cork popping but ultimately fell back to a 96. The Hundred Acres, while a bit younger, seemed to hold up more all night.

Decanted after disintegrated cork. Opened up well and seemed to have loads of fruit and spice. Felt it had held up really well. Color was a garnet look with lots of legs. Decanted for about an hour. Initial pours into glasses was very promising. However, this wine fell off a cliff! Ten minutes later in the glass, wine became flat and very watery. Lost lots of its fruit and no tannins. Not unpleasant, just not as vibrant. However, several,at the party thought this wine was WOTN. Last bottle.

No food. Feel it has many years left in the cellar. Finish was an impressive 45 seconds or longer. This Insignia vintage did get better in the glass over the course of a few hours.

Popped and poured. This is a big massive wine. Lots of blueberry fruits qualities. This is a lush wine that has a definite Merlot feel to it. Tannins are still ever present, and this wine has many years left in the bottle. Could go another 10-20 years easily. Very pleased with this wine. Got better as the night wore on. Enjoyed with food very much or on its own. Great Experience.

Lots of rock and mineral characteristics showing through. Tannins were still very gripping. This wine has lots of cellaring to do. Could be another 5 year laid down with even better results! Tight and wound up at first. Popped and poured-no decant. Would have benefited from a decant. After about 1 hour, really began to open up and show its personality. Truly a Bordeaux style wine, with a very old world feeling to it. Dark looking with lots of red fruits on the nose. Tannins were still present but not so gripping. Finish was long lasting and had hints of cherry and tobacco in it. Definitely and enjoyable wine. This vintage has many more years of cellaring. A Coravined bottle previously.
