Great cote Rotie! Lots of crushed white pepper, meat/iron, blackberries and all of the other hallmarks of northern rhone. Delicate, extremely well balanced and long taste. This will be terrific in a few years!

Great Barbera, lots of fruit with blueberries and a hint of blackcurrant and hints of tobacco and chocolate. Full bodied with the barbera acidity. Really good now but better in a few years!

Lots of fruit and structure left in this bottle. Needs more time. Lots of cassis, leather and some notes of violets and tobacco. Arcetypical and classical left bank bordeaux. Would leave it for at least 5 years.

Red apples, cherries, dark rye-bread and hazelnuts. Great mineralitey fills the nose with flint and gunpowder! Lovely character with great balance, nice mousse and Good length. Bought at the domaine in Bouzy and learned that the average age of the vines is 50 years!

2hr decant. Dark violet. Raspberries prunes and blackberries, old oil, earl grey tea, stone dust, violets and lavender. Smooth mouthfeel w dense tannins and mouthwatering acidity. Long lingering salty licorice finish. Brillant!

Honest and traditional CNDP with 75% grenache. Complex nose w savoury notes of stew, strawberries, leather, coffe and dried flowers. Warm mouthfeel with a bittersweet finish. Would pair really well with a hearty stew!

Surprisingly much cabernet on the nose, with dry prunes and blackkurrant. The oak shows itself through mint and vanilla. Tannins are fine and smooth, acidity medium plus. Long taste. Really nice and much life left in it!

Roses, violets, sour cherries, a streak of smoke and a bit of caramel left by the small oak barrels. Tannins are smooth and silky, well balanced with precise acidity and long taste lingering with the sour cherries. A great example of modern style barolo that is ready to grab!

Peaking now, with dried flowers, cuban cigars, bayleafs junipers and dark dried fruit. Nice length and well balanced although fruit, acidity and tannins are starting to fade down. I would not wait much longer!

Took this blind as a left bank bordeaux w cassis and cedar on the nose. Developed more complexity with air (decanted for 2hrs) High acidity and form tannins. Still youthful fruit.

Decanted for 2 hrs. Complex nose with prunes, leather, chocolate, coffe, smoke and chatarells. Still Good balance with lively acid and soft tannins. Loved this wine! The fruit is starting to fade though so I would have it now.

Dried plum, chocolate and forest undergrowth. This is starting to develop into maturity and I really enjoy the phase it is in right now. High acidity, medium/mid-low tannins. Offers both more complexity and length than it should based on the price tag!

On opening a bin nose with lots of sunwarm raspberries, violets, mineral and salmiac powder. After a few hours the fruit has turned 360 to dark fruit with plums and blackberries. Beautiful and interesting wine. Still young!

Very young. Big nose of cassis, cedar and tobacco. Intense tannins and acids with medium body. If something is lacking it is more fruit-stuffing in the middle. Should probably not try this again before 2020.

Stor doft som skvallrar om mkt alkohol. Torkad frukt, fikon, russin och toner av bjornklister. Ordentligt med bade syra och tanniner. Lite ruffigt vin som visserligen ar bra for pengarna men har lite mkt alkohol och for lite elegans for min smak. Lite som att en amarone valdfort sig pa en Barolo...
