Last tasted this about 1 1/2 years ago and found it to be extraordinary, now 2 out of the 3 bottles that I opened tonight were premoxed. I wish I had drunk them all last year. The 3rd bottle is ok but on the decline. I have 2 left that I think I'll be opening in the very near future. Bummer!

10/4/16, 1:41 PM - Opened my last 2 last night and they were gone too. Very disappointing, especially considering how excellent it was 1 1/2 years ago. I'm going to stop aging my Chablis and start drinking them all up in the first 5 years. Sad that it's come to that.

This has a very pretty nose of red fruit, earth and spice, all of which carry over to the fairly forward, mid weight palate that's showing really good depth for a village nuits. There's still some chalky tannin on the longish finish, but overall, this is drinking very well with just an hour or so of air.

Revisited at about 4 hours and this was really singing.

7/5/16, 2:08 PM - That was May of last year and I haven't tasted it since, but I suspect 4 hours would still be ok. I would actually recommend decanting it and then tasting it at intervals, maybe every 1/2 hour or so, until you find when its drinking the best.
