Solid wine. I expected this to be a bitter sweeter. This was pretty darn dry. This was a very nice wine, with good fruit, complex light almond and mint, light bitterness and good acidity. light-medium body.

Unfortunately, I expected this to be fuller bodied and sweeter so it did NOT do well with barbacoa tacos.

Light, soft, well made. Goes down very well. Good with lunch. Always pleased to find a decent wine that comes in at 12 percent. No rush.

3/16/20, 10:25 AM - It's good to drink now, unlikely to improve I think. It's a modest wine after all. The more serious and expensive cuvees like Perrieres and Senechal are a different matter.
