Decanted 30 minutes before drinking. A bit rust colored when pouring but dark red / black in the glass. Licorice and dark fruit with some menthol on the nose. Velvety mouth feel with chocolate blackberry and toast - amazing.

Cork was challenging so had to filter the bottle when decanting. Effort was worth it - silky mouth feel, dried berries with vanilla notes. Long finish.

Cedar box, Italian spice and a bit of caramel on the nose. Soft feel with mild accidity in the mouth. Crisp finish with some residual accidity.

Cork was close to done but wine was not corked, just a little tricky to remove. Ripe berries and a hint of spice on the nose. Full mouth feel with softness at the back and a good finish with a hint of the alcohol. Lovely.

Bright yellow with nice body. A little lacking in depth and interesting notes on the nose but well structured in the mouth and delightful hint of chalk followed by full classic Chardonnay butteriness.

A birthday gift from good friends a couple of years ago. Mind blown. Delightful. Caramel and strawberry nose, soft and supple in the mouth, lingering finish leaving you wanting more. I want more. I wish they were better friends, they would have bought me a case.

A little uninteresting, but far from offensive and a great bargain, weekday easy drinking wine.

Almost opaque in the glass. Figs, and vanilla on the nose. Dark fruit, mint and pepper lead to a long, delicate finish. Yum.

Opened directly from cellar (we were thirsty!) so a little on the cool side when first opened. Not much going on nose-wise but that's at least partially due to the temperature in the glass and was definitely opening up as it warmed up. I got a bit of pine and cherry notes. Medium body in the glass. Strawberry, honey and mint tastes. Quite smooth for a wine at this price point. Very drinkable.

Decanted and tried right away. Barnyard nose and a bit tight on the palate. Let sit for 90 minutes, whole new wine. Still some mineral on the nose but menthol and dark fruit round it out nicely. Supple with complexity and good balance. Long finish. Delicious.

Really rating it as 89 but giving it extra point for earlier low ratings with no explanation...classic Washington State Cab Sauv. Decanted straight from cellar. Tried right away and a bit harsh. Tried 10 minutes later and a huge difference. Black core with purple fringe in the glass. Wild flower, licorice and dark fruit on the nose. Supple menthol, vanilla and burnt toast in the mouth. Lingers nicely.

Cork had a layer of dark crystalized residual sugar on it but was otherwise intact. Decanted and noted a dark rust red/black colour. Tasted almost immediately. Quite opaque in the glass. Floral and vanilla notes on the nose. Cherry and licorice with a medium length finish. A very nice glass of wine. Not past its prime, but likely little benefit to additional aging.

Surprised by some of the other tasting notes... Decanted for 30 minutes. Deep almost blood red in the glass. Vanilla, menthol and caramel on the nose. Ripe cherry, mint and chocolate notes in the mouth. Lingers nicely. If any of the 85 pointers out there have any left and it has been stored properly, I'll happily buy it from you :^)

Drank this 3 litre bottle on my own and can't remember if it was any good or not but it's all gone, so I presume so. Just kidding! Drank it with a large group of friends after two hours open and continuously decanting as we drank. Looked back at my prior tasting note for the regular bottle of this I drank and all still holds true but the age with the additional years did this wine some favours.

Very light, almost rose in colour. A little earthy and figs on the nose with a delicate feel and all around enjoyable glass of Pinot at the light end of the scale.

Deep maroon with ruby fringe and almost opaque in the centre. Caramel, anise and black fruit on the nose. Berry, vanilla and some menthol in the mouth. Not a super long finish, but leaves you wanting more. My last bottle. I did not care much for this when it was younger but it has really improved with age. I think it is at or maybe just past its peak now.

I had low expectations given the other ratings here. I decanted an hour before drinking. Nose of almond, licorice and vanilla and a touch of barnyard. Silly smooth in the mouth with a medium long soft finish. I wish I had more drinking perfectly.

Drank the 1.5 ltr 2010 at a family gathering. Decanted an hour before drinking. This wine is aging nicely but could easily use a few more years in the bottle.

Drinking very well now and should continue to drink well for a few years. Nose has subtle black fruit and refined spiciness and hides a luscious and bold but not overbearing mouthful of wine with a soft, long finish.

Very traditional and elegant sauvignon blanc. I'm not generally a big fan, but this is a very nice glass of wine. Straw and sage on the nose.

Absolutely delectable. Not past its prime but likely at its peak. Nose is complex with cherry, vanilla and a hint of earthiness - more going on than I can fully describe. Fills your mouth with pepper, strawberry and almost a tawny port lingering finish.
