In a good spot, with good fruit, nice rustiness, secondary flavors emerging. Good food wine.

Outstanding. Probably a bit young, but with 90 mins air just a beautiful balance northern Rhone.

A bit hot still, much better on day 2. Hope it integrates better in time. Open early or wait.

Enjoyable. More red fruit. nice bite to it, definitely still on youthful side. Not much secondary flavors 2 hours in.

Terrific value, and in a really good window. Only needed 20 mins in glass to open, lots of secondary flavors, medium body, good food wine.

Great example from the vintage. And in a good window, for at least 3-5 yrs.

At first a little prunish, but that blew off after 30-45 mins in the glass. After that I'd say a bit fruit-heavy, not a lot of earthy/secondary flavors I'd prefer. Hard for me to see this getting better.

Unfortunately I'm throwing in the towel on this one. 3rd bottle over 7 or 8 years, just too acidic/tart. Not my style.

This wine continues to astound on QPR. PNP, drank over 2 hours. Youthful fruit, good secondary flavors underneath, a bit of chalkiness on the finish, just a great experience for the price.

Decanted and drank over 2 hours, and it was still getting better as I had my last taste. Very good drinking window, wine got more body as the night went on, and secondary flavors emerged. Open early next time.

PNP as an after dinner wine. Very enjoyable, tannins resolved, on the lighter side, with some nice nuanced flavors. Honestly i think i'd enjoy it more with a meal. Very much in its drinking window.

PNP drank over 3 hrs. Tannins very integrated, lots of red fruit, only after 90 mins did I start to get nice secondary flavors that hinted at Bordeaux roots. Good with food.

Elegant. 2 hr decant which really helped the mid fill in. Secondary flavors are mint a bit of tar. Light on the finish. I like this window, and I’m not sure I’ll like it as much in 10 yrs.

This was definitely "thin" at first, took 3-4 hours in the glass to start to fill out. A bit metallic, and not much of the bloody meat undertones I so enjoy, but decent. And years left in the tank.

Surprisingly young, took an hour For the structure to settle down, but I found much to like sour cherries, and balance here. Really enjoyable now, seems like it could get better.

Excellent QPR, very full bodied with some nice earth and minerality, I'd say just hitting its stride.

PNP and only gave it 30-60 in the glass, a little more fruit forward than i remember, plenty of life, just not as much in the secondary flavors.

I enjoyed this as a change from my usual varietals. An interesting blend between the acidity of a sangiovese and the more rounded french varietals to my palatte. Very young still but definitely showing interesting flavors esp after 30 mins in the glass.

This really surprised me. I've had other vintages that were fairly light with a heavy strawberry undertone. This was much bigger, especially after 30 mins in the glass, with a balance of red and black fruits, and a long finish. Exciting, and no rush.

A really nice American syrah. Doesn't reach the complexity of a N Rhone, but definitely more interesting than most US Syrah I try. Lots of depth, and still quite young.

Rating this where it is today. Incredibly young, tight, chalky even. I strongly suspect this gets better, and would benefit from far more air than I gave it.

Nicely mellowed since 2013 tasting. Drinks like an old school Napa or a Wash state Bordeaux blend, with lovely secondary flavors and decent structure but no hard edges. Great wine.
