In a good spot, good color, pure red fruit in the nose, made in a more modern, lean way, only 12.5 grade. Paired very well with red pepper chocolate.

Absolut intakte Farbe, überbordendes, splendides rotbeeriges Bouquet. Zunächst verhalten, dann mehr Feinheiten in den erdbeerfruchtigen, leicht alkoholgeprägten Aromen.

Opened first btl out of six.
Starting mellow, with more air a characterful Cru.
Still some unresolved tannins, drink or hold.

At peak, drinking very well now. Some Weinstein is good sign for fine ageing. Best btl so far, no decant necessary. Up(g)rate!

Very clean bouquet of pepper, other spices and dark fruit, developing some finesse as like a small Bordelais Cru (especially on day 2). Nose with some depth, consistent finish. Found this by chance, will look for it in future. Drink or hold.

Better than last tasted, pnp, dark colored, immediately delicious nose showing subtle notes of raspberries and dark red fruits. Good texture, some crushed berries but remaining hints of tannin too, guess will be getting only better.

Youngish, smooth, elegant and velvety, another kind of experience compared to a 2003 St. Estephe tastend last week which was more luscious and baroque. The art of understatement... appealing wine.

Best result here with great glass which stood in cool cellar for a day, initially no fruit notes. Great balance and ease on day 2, much freshness accompanying deep aromas of underwood, dried fruit and spices.

First encounter with this slow beauty for me. Formidable!

This wine gives an incredibly young impression. Plastik Cork is nearly completely wet. Brilliant Color and clear, intense nose of cherry, plums and some caramel. Good density and middle length, overall fine wine, surprisingly enough given the vintage. This has gracefully aged.

Middle golden color. Now on day 2 I'm Wondering if this is on decline or not, delicate nose, round and intense, sweet citrus, Orange. Distinct acid, perhaps a tad too much for even better score. Finishing long, great wine, better showing than last bottle some 4 yrs ago - 91.

Conclusion after day 3: the wine has rounded up and is emerging as a well focused, generous and classy white - 92

Red berries and rose hip tea in the nose, all a bit high toned. Much personality, elegance, consistence right from the start but playing all cards only for so. with some patience: clearly best sip on day 3 from remaining small tasting glas. Good length, great robustness, sweet fruit expression. Great wine.

Great wine and surely one of the slowliest developing wines I ever had. Estimated an off-bottle first. After 4th or 5th day this is turning into a decent, burgundy-like, noble wine carrying sweet red berries, great structure and fine balance. Medium+ finish. No hurry with next btl.

Trouvaille, have no idea about the producer.

Dark and starting a bit tart, the wine is evolving throughout the evening showing an appealing rasp- & strawberry nose and decent length. Well balanced, elegance meets an awesome intensity! Would decant a while next time. Very serious wine-making here. Enjoy now and next 5-7 yrs.
