Drank from a 6 litre bottle. Wine was a bit tired upon opening. Needed about 3-40 minutes to wake up. All tannins gone. Wine was very tasty and easy to drink. Medium finish. Lovely wine.

Needed about 20 minutes of air to calm down and open up. Drinking real well. Low tannin with good fruit balance. If you have any in your cellar I would start drinking it. At a good point right now.

The wine upon opening was tight and closed. Little to no nose or flavor at first. Took a good hour for the wine to open up a bit more. This wine needs to be decanted and set back for no less than one hour (possibly two) prior to attempting to drink it. Hints of red berries fruit flavor, deep red color with slight tannin bite. Tobacco/smokey taste with a medium finish.

Drank from a 1.5L bottle. Opened the bottle and rank it all thru an aerator 3 hours prior to consuming with food. The wine was most excellent. Medium ruby-purple color. Red fruit flavors of sweet cherries, strawberries.

Drank from a 1.5L bottle. Peppery with a touch of spice. Medium-bodied, with a very nice finish. Drinking really well right now. NOTE: This was our second 1.5L bottle consumed. It was consistent with the first one drunk in early March 2016.

This wine is still evolving. Out of the bottle it is still hot. Has an earthy herbaceous flavor. We let it air out in a decanter for more then an hour. Still needed more time. Give it 2 hours and it calms down. I am going to wait at least another year before I try another bottle. Wine rating may improve later.

Excellent wine. Good structure. Plenty of fruit still remaining. Drink now, but needs 20-30 minutes of air time to settle.

Big, ripe and fruity wine. Black fruit. Full bodied wine. Drinking well now after a minimum 30 minute decant. Will be interesting to see how this matures.

The wine looks purple colored. It smells like tobacco, raisins and figs. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture with the gentle tastes of a good Amarone. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
The bottle was a 1.5L bottle. Drinking very well right now.

Very tight upon opening and a little bit hot. Garnet in color, with a tinge of brown rust coloring. Menthol/camphor on nose. Medium body with cherries and raspberries. Medium finish. Needs food to compliment the wine. Very good with red sauce spaghetti. Enjoyable, but could go another year or two in the cellar.

Excellent wine for the price. Needs to breathe for about 30 minutes prior to drinking. Consumed with red sauced Italian food. This wine is like a baby Amarone.

Nose of ripe dark fruit. Earthy, leather and green pepper taste. Medium finish with light tannins that disappeared over time while drinking it. This win got a lot better toward the end after it aired out.

Light clear red. Nose had aromas of raspberry, cherry, and dusty mushrooms. Thin mouth feel with a cherry licorice flavor. Lacking in complexity. Not a bad wine but comes up a little bit short for the $18 price we paid.

Classic Bordeaux nose. This is a good wine and is drinking well right now. Elegant and balanced wine, with very little tannins remaining. Red and black fruit, very smooth. Decanted for one hour minutes prior to dinner. Went well with rib eye steak. I would not hold this wine back too much longer.

Opened and decanted for 1.5 hours prior to dinner. Very tight on opening. Wine was consumed with ribeye steak and sautéed mushrooms. Very complimentary with the food. As the wine sat open it got better and better. Three hours after opening, it was in full bloom. Great nose and huge full mouth flavors. Long finish. Great wine.

Upon opening tight. Needs min two hours decanting. Nose full, of herbs, gravel dust and peppery. Taste of dark berries, minerals, chalky, cherries, very herbaceous, and full of tannins. Dry lingering finish. Best consumed with food rather then alone.

Great nose of black currant, plum, blackberry, cedar, leather, vanilla upon opening. Was tight right out of the bottle, so decanted it for oner hour prior to retasting with a big fat rib eye steak. Opened up and the tannins disappeared. Not a big wine, but it had a nicely balanced finish. Ready to dirink now.

Did not decant. A little tight upon opening. Strong Cab nose. Wine softened over a period of an hour. Left one glass out for 24 hours. Tannins all gone, very soft and still full of fruit. Definately would have benefited with decanting for a couple hours prior to consumption.

Opened and decanted for 10 hours prior to consumption. Huge thick rich fruit flavors. Drank with the usual trappings, i.e., shilton, walnuts grannie smith apple slices and chocolates. Might be the best port that I have ever had. I weent out and immediately bought six more bottles.
