Golden in the glass. After coming up to room temperature, floral aromas come forward, with ample fruit on the palate.

I wish I had paid closer attention to this incredible wine.

It seemed bright and citrusy, without oaky or buttery or caramel characteristics. This paired just perfectly with homemade turkey noodle soup.

I think that chadrich and rieslinghoarder are correct - the Cellar Tracker drinking window for this wine is probably too short and this wine has at least a year or two to go.

Wine is round and easy drinking. Tannins are pretty well integrated. For a wine with ABV of 14.5%, the alcohol is also pretty well hidden.

I wouldn't hesitate to drink this. My last bottle will be gone soon!

I think this has some time left to go in the bottle. While quite delicious, the alcohol is still pretty prominent, as are the tannins. I think this might go another couple of years in the cellar.

very, Very, VERY light gold and crystal clear in the glass. Aromas and taste were rather subtle. Tasty, but will require a closer look when the next bottle is opened.

Still kind of a baby. Never seemed to open up all the way. Maybe another two or three years might see this wine really open up.

A little tight out of the bottle, this wine opened up in the glass and in the bottle over the course of about 30 minutes to an hour. Drinking quite nicely now. A short decant might be perfect.

Wow! Just wow! Don't look for a description of the fruit flavors, aromas, ... here. Just know that this is one of the best bottles of wine I've opened at home and this wine is SO READY TO DRINK AND ENJOY.

As others have pointed out, this wine is MUCH better when allowed some air and a chance to come up to room temperature. Chilled, popped and poured, the wine had an almost cooked or sour characteristic, but that blew off and revealed a substantial Sauvignon Blanc once it came up to room temperature. Give the wine some air and enjoy.

Seriously - this may be the best sub $20 wine I've had to drink. Smooth, with some fruit still left. I'll likely be drinking my remaining bottles over the remainder of this year.

Clear, light golden in the glass. Subtle fruit flavors on the palate. Better cold; as the wine came to room temperature, it had a slightly sour note on the finish.

Just a terrific bottle of wine. Any tannic "edginess" is completely gone, with the wine showing great fruit, a touch of graphite (never thought I'd use that to describe a wine!) and the beginning of the cedar and leather flavors that come with an aged bottle of wine.

If you got it, drink it!

Very good, but not great. Decanted for about an hour to soften the edges before pouring for dinner with a grilled pork chop. The high alcohol content never really muted itself and clashed a bit with dinner. Dark purple, fragrant and tasty, just not perfect.

I wonder if either more bottle time (still pretty vibrant, so I think the drinking window is still open) or a longer decant might be in order for the last bottle in my cellar.

Very different than the KB Russian River Valley from the same vintage that we drank on the same evening. Lighter in the glass, a bit brighter / more acidic, with a slightly spicy, peppery finish. This might do a tad better with food, or perhaps another year or two in the bottle.

Just a terrific example of a Russian River Pinot Noir. Dark purple in the glass. Fruity and jammy. Drinking very well right now. Enjoy.

Showing its age. Color is a little bricked. Dusty, leathery flavors and aromas of an older wine are showing through.

Drink up.

A little tight and a bit astringent at first, but opened up in the glass quite nicely after just a few minutes. Might benefit from a short decanting.

Not sure about this one. Opened this last night and got some funk on the palate and the nose (cork taint?). My wife simply loved the wine, and I picked up some caramel and butterscotch on the palate, but the funk never seemed to blow off. Disappointed in the experience, but still looking forward to the last bottle of this vintage in the cellar.

Deep purple in the glass. Throwing off a fair amount of sediment at this point. Silky smooth on the palate. Still some fruit up front, but showing some age with cedar / leather on the finish. Time to drink up.

Nice, fine bubbles. A little yeasty on the palate. A slightly "off" finish as the temperature in the glass came up. I'd serve this ice cold next time.

Bottle says "fermented to complete dryness", but for me, it comes off as just slightly off-dry. Fruity, fragrant. Great with curry chicken chowder.

A little heavy-handed with the oak. The caramel / butterscotch on the palate was pretty aggressive. Interestingly, I found those notes were much tamer after a couple of days in the fridge after opening.
