Decanted 1 hour. Pretty big, pretty fruity and pretty good. Beautiful aromas of both red and black fruits. Great mouthfeel with completely resolved tannins. Fruit is starting to mature and not a lot of nuance, not sure if it will ever come with this wine. But very, very good now if your in the mood for a larger scaled wine. Paired great with sous vide New Yorkers. Last bottle and glad I cellared.

3/6/16, 10:28 AM - Yes - lots of sediment after being on its side for 10+ years. Seems like it will last longer but I do not have any experience past the 15 year mark on Aussie shiraz. Fairly round now with resolved tannins though. I say drink now and enjoy!

Mineral, bright fruit, clean nose. Lush fruit and perfect balance on palate. Fantastic paired with salmon ramen. Aftertaste lingers.

New World all of the way. Too much of everything for me, couldn't finish glass.

8/20/14, 4:10 PM - I agree 10 years should soften the fruit and oak and hopefully will become drinkable. Non wine geeks couldn't drink it either.

Night one decanted and jumped right in. Slightly sweet cherry and rhubarb on nose and palate and that was about it. Not horrible but nothing to write home about. Tried again on night 2 and 3. Didn't want a second glass on any of these nights in fact was hard to finish first. Bad bottle? Not sure but I have 1 more in cellar.
Night 4 - getting better

1/21/13, 7:11 PM - The wine did improve a lot on night 4, but had kind of lost interest by then (other wines on counter). I do believe I will keep last bottle in cellar for another 3-4 years.
