100% Chardonnay, barely sulphured. Good energy and concentration, especially since this is 'just' Bourgogne, but didn't at all intrude on our enjoyment of a variety of dishes (at Primeur) - unsurprisingly a good match with mussels and Pollock, but nice with polenta and chicken liver ragu too! Mineral, lemony, not too acidic. No hurry to drink but not clear this will improve - the zinginess is the point. I didn't think it was particularly 'natural', but my wife did, and didn't hugely care for it.

A private dinner (Restaurant 4850, Amsterdam, NL): A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, organic viticulture, bottled unfiltered, 12.5% ABV. Tasted blind. Clearly Chardonnay, clearly oak aged, but not Burgundy. The acidity and minerality are different, really sprightly and salty. Excellent persistence. Germany?

A bit disappointing. Don't if it need some more cellar time.

3/29/20, 12:25 PM - That was way too young, dude! Needs at least 7 - 8 years in the cellar.

No notes taken, but I thoroughly enjoyed this bottle. Great nose of orchard fruits (tending towards tropical). Equally great on the palate with a big burst of flavor, nice acidity and a long, satisfying finish. You can't ask for much more at this price point.

A wine produced biodynamically and spontaneous fermentation. Matured in large & small wooden barrels.
Notes of blueberry, wild cherry, leather and wild herbs on the nose.
Fresh, clean and silky fruit driven palate with notes of cherry, red currant and a bit of salt at the end. Lovely sweet-sour taste. Good acidity.
Would perfectly match with some lamb or a dish with poultry. Great price-performance ratio!
