This was a really great wine, and thanks to my SS ramwines for gifting it. Definitely new world, but as the night progressed this just got more and more complex. Deep and dark color, but there is an agility to the flavor that eludes many CA pinots (though the Ceritas we opened with it held up quite well, and the latter improved the next day -- nothing left of this one to try the next day!).

Have plans for Valentines eve dinner on the beach at Casa de Mita ( with close friends and some Rochioli Pinot and Sauvignon Blanc, and a bottle or two of older Dunn or Bond Cabs.

PnP - nose of rich strawberry and cherry fruit, bacon, lavender, and a hint of mushroom. Taste was gentle and feminine with low tannins and acidity, very fruity, cherry, strawberry, no hint of alcohol showing. Some spice and again a hint of mushroom. Overall very enjoyable. Drink now or within 5 yrs.
