Decanted for two hours prior serving. Cork was in a very good shape, and bottle level was high.
Honestly disapponting tonight, dust and tobacco on the nose, some green pepper.
Acidic palate, but somehow hollow and light bodied.
Interesting length.

Quite impressed with this wine. This was my first Lagrein. It's full of life after 10 years in the cellar. I'd have guessed for Pinot Noir, except that the color is darker. Very good balance and aromatics.

Very impressive wine, quite a different opinion than previous tasters.
This bottle had a lot of life left in it, core of dark and red fruits, some herbal notes reminiscent of cab sauv (?) that give some freshness. Good acidity and very smooth tannins after 11 years.
