Absolutely fabulous rich, extracted and well balanced Chardonnay. Excellent concentration of flavors, glycerin mouthfeel with enough acid to hold it together. Wish I had more.

Much better out of the large format. Fruit was much more present than the 750ml, and it did not have pronounced reductive characteristic that the regular format had.

Fruit was faded and there was noticeable brett. Maybe in a down/weird stage, but enjoyed much more in the fall of 2010.

Better than last bottles... needed about an hour decant to blow off funky/reductive notes... little hot... fruit came out nicely, and it paired well with smoked salmon and wild mushroom angel hair pasta.

Nice Cab... not quite as rich as some of the other recent Stryker's (Monte Rosso & Rockpile).

Pretty massive viognier. Big, coating mouthfeel. Ripe, full and creamy. Lots of fruit and floral. Oak. Very enjoyable.

Drinking very nicely. Good amounts of fruit (ripe blueberries), floral and a bit of game on the nose. A bit of pepper in the mouth with a fleshy texture and soft tannins. Not a massive or brooding wine, but great body and very approachable. Wine changed in the glass throughout the eve. Drinking great but still has lots of life ahead.

Pretty rich... liked the first glass, but found it hard to drink and a bit of a chore to finish the second/third.

Found this wine to be a bit too ripe and "fruitbombish".... a little flabby. Didn't work with our frenched veal chops and polenta... had to open a different PN. No earthy components. Nice wine, just don't care much for the style, and not what I enjoy from this region. Had a similar experience with another single vineyard from Erath. Actually prefer the Willamette Valley PN to the SV's.

No formal notes. Very nice PN. Good price. Decanted for 1+hr. Great structure with some nice tannins and great fruit. Reminded me a bit of RRV over OR.

No formal notes taken. The wine was nice and had some nice earthy qualities to it, but I remember thinking that the fruit didn't hold up to the oak.

Drank with lamburgers. Absolutely love this wine with lamb. Nice rich fruit, but not over the top or cloying. Nice value from some old dry creek vines.

Drank with dinner @ NOPA for Amanda's b-day in October. Should of waited to open this, as the wine was young and could have used time for some tannin integration.

Purple/ruby red rim, lots of sweet ripe fruit. Brambly blackberry pie on the nose with a touch of heat. Silky mouthfeel, no tannins and a good balance with the alc/acidity. Not too complex, but tasty and easy drinking.

color is almost a pinkish copper. Nice yeasty, creamy, strawberry nose... with a mouthfull of the same. Loved the bright acidity on the finish. I love this sparkling at the pricepoint and would like to make a trip up to Anderson Valley to reload.

Just great. Light in color, very elegant and smooth Pinot; just the way I like em. Awesome nose, tons of sweet fruit and a bit of mushrooms and earthiness.... great mouthfeel and nose carries onto to the mouth. Lovely wine. I think I need at least a case of this at all times to stay sane, must buy more ASAP.

Chocolate, cassis, ripe rasberry and cherry with some sweet oak and spice. Nice wine, well balanced and supple tannins to hang on longer... If I had to drink over agian I would decant for an hour+ and make sure to pair with food.

Decanted for around 1.5hrs, and served around 60-65 degrees.... when opened, the wine had a very dusty green nose on it, which blew off during the decant. Once open, there was nice vanilla, tobacco, cedar, cocoa, plum and cassis. Very smooth on the palate and rich mouthfeel, with cassis, chocolate, cigar/sweet tobacco with tannins still present. Classic aged Galante... I really like. Think I'll try to grab another 4-6 of these.

decanted for around an hour or so. Nice wine, more on the bright side for a cab with the fruit, and definitely was a bit lean and green, with some earth and leather... not as rich as the 2001, so I think I'll just hang onto the last bottle for a couple years and see what happens.

A ton of fruit and drinking well... definitely more zin like with the ripeness than a cab franc, which could be a result of trying to avoid green flavors by letting the fruit get very ripe.

Well, didn't wait as planned and opened this one for bbq pork ribs on Labor Day. The wine is nice, but does seem to have a touch of Brett, not necessarily in a bad way though.... will wait longer to drink the last one.
