Drank more than nice for a low cost Malbec. Well worth the price. Let open up for about 45 mins. Balance in mouth was crisp, full and quite good. It's time seems to be now.

Awesome, still big and surprising amount of tannins. Would have been great in another few years yet. Rich dark/black/burgundy in color. After reading other tasting notes... I must have got lucky with a very well kept bottle. We had this at a buddies house. It was a "bring your past due bottles" night. We had a dozen or so $250 plus bttls.... This was one of the better ones from the early 1960's to mid 80's. Even had it out in decanter for an hour. I'll miss her... Never to be had again!!!!!

An inky color, thick tannins and dark flavors of smoke, game and licorice distinguish this full-bore red. Powerful, but crisp acidity leaves a clean finish. A rare varietal bottling of this indigenous grape. I loved this bttl. Almost black/purple in color. Worth every penny.. and that about all it cost! Would buy more for sure.

Simply like no other Voignier I've ever tasted. The acidic fprward citrus commonly associated with this varietal was not there. Instead it was more like a 8-10 yr old Cal Chard that was almost past it's best days but not quite. Lovely. And for the price, I should have bought all they had. I'd love to hear from others on this one.
