Opened about an hour before consuming. While still good I believe this one was over the peak and starting down the other side. Still had some fruit but not as much as there once was. A little soft on the mouth feel and the finish was a bit shorter than I remember. As I said still good but I would drink them if you have them.

Drinking very nicely, stone fruit, citrus, tropical fruit, good acidity with a medium long finish. The oak comes through but in a good way which is something I don’t say very often (not a big fan of oaked whites). Golden straw color. It is in a good place now I doubt it will improve much with age, drink them if you got them.

Served at cellar temp, this is one that you don’t want too cold. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Apricot and other stone fruits, medium finish, golden straw in color. like others have said not buttery but that is what you would expect without oak. After drinking too many over oaked Ca chards this is what I look for in a chard.

A very good rosé. Sweet enough for hot Florida evenings on the patio watching the thunder storms blow by dry enough to be served at dinner. Strawberry in color and on the palate along tart cherry and a background earthiness showing on the medium long finish.

Opened approximately 2 hours before consuming. Didn’t taste when opened but showing very well after the slow O. Dark fruit, a bit of leather and earth. Paired very well with Braciola and gnocchi

This wine was really hitting on all cylinders, good fruit up front and well balanced. Medium long finish with a soft mouth feel. Popped and poured but really didn't change over the next 30min so no reason to decant. I would say this is definitely the sweet spot for this wine, drink up I doubt this will improve with more time

Opened the bottle about 1 hour prior to consuming. One of the best new world chards that I have had. Stone fruit, apple and a background hint of vanilla. Smooth maybe a bit butter but no oak detected. Definitely fresh and crisp with a medium long finish. Very nice, wish I had more.

Opened and slow O for about 90min before consuming. Didn't taste it when opened (should have) but after sitting it was really spot on. Good fruit up front, smooth and well balanced with a medium long finish. As with all Epoch wines I would suggest giving it time before consuming but I think this is in a great place now and probably will not improve with more time.

Pop and poured, consumed over a couple of hours. Strong fruit, red cherry. Pretty well integrated but kind of one note without much structure. It was decent now but I think this one should have stayed on it side for a couple of more years.

The wine seem to be in a shutdown phase. Not much structure or body and while the fruit was there it was a bit like welches grape drink. The bottle was opened about 60min before consuming and consumed over about an hour. It did show some signs of improving by the end of the bottle which is why I am hopeful it was shutdown and not over the hill or flawed.

Maybe not a world class wine but for sipping on the patio on a warm afternoon it is superb. Light and refreshing, stone fruit and floral notes excellent when cold and pretty darn good as it warms up and can stand up to a evening BBQ.

Ok, but nothing special, I would stick with the rhones from HS. Cherry on the noise, decent amount of fruit up front, some earthiness on the backside. High ABV is well hidden.

Opened about 1 hour before drinking. Really in a good spot right now. Well integrated with plenty of fruit left on the front end, med finish with good body. Dark berries, a hint of coco and some spice. Paired very nicely with red wine braised short ribs and goat cheese mash potatoes.

Slow O for about 1 hour. Still very fruit forward, cherry other dark fruit and spices. A hint of heat from the alcohol but not bad overall nicely integrated. A good example of a California PN, probably not high on the list of a Burg-hound.

Consumed over two days. Heavy in vanilla with a background of stone fruit, some oak but not over done. Decent acid making the wine well balanced. Vanilla was not as forward the second day but really the wine didn’t change much.

Sat in the glass for about 30min before consumed although tasted on opening. First taste out of the bottle was terrible, a mouthful of acidic liquid, thought this one may be headed for the sink. After 30min in the glass it transformed into a pretty good wine. Dark fruits on both the nose and the palate, a light tannins on the finish. If I were to rate this wine I would give it a 88 but I am not sure that it wasn't slightly flawed with that first taste out of the bottle.

PNP, consumed over about an hour with little change over that time. Overall a nice wine, a little fruit forward with a short finish and a bit sweet. Could use a more body, complexity and finish. Cherry, strawberry with a hint of spices on the palate.

PNP, consumed over about an hour. Grenache seems to be taking over the show, still strong fruit up from, blackberry and strawberry on both the nose and palate. Velvety mouth fell with not much hit from the alcohol. A bit of tartness on the finish. In a good place now but may be starting a downhill slide.

Still one of my favorite white (rhone blends) wines, great with spicy foods. Still has plenty of fruit (mostly stone fruit, apricots some floral notes on the finish) and acidity will probably last for several more years but drinks nicely now. We'll see where the 2017 goes but as of now I prefer the 2016, I need to call them and see if I can get more.

PNP straight from the wine fridge at about 55 deg. Stone fruit with some background florals, not much of an impact from the alcohol. Very refreshing at lunch on a hot summer day. If I was to score it I would go with a 89-90 but at the temp consumed I don't think it would be fair.

Decanted about 30min, blackberry, cherry fruit with a little spice and bacon on the backend. Maybe a bit of a fruit bomb a little sweet but still very enjoyable. Good acidity so it could probably use a few more years on it side.

Drinking very well not showing its age at all. Cherry, some floral and citrus in the background. Drinks a bit more like a Cali PN than a classic Oregon PN.

One of the better white rhone blends that I have tasted (drank at cellar temp). Stone fruit on the nose and palate, some citrus in the background with plenty of body and complexity with nice a long finish. Good acidity and balance drinking well now but should be good for 2+ more years.

Opened about 30min before consuming. Well balanced with strawberry and cherry fruit but not overwhelming. A bit "stemmy" and surprising strong tannins with a mid to long finish. With the mild fruit showing not sure how much longer this one has, I will be drinking my other bottle soon.

Popped and poured consumed over about 2 hours, wine was stable over the entire consumption time. Some of the up front fruit has subsided but still the juice is in a very good place. Cherry, sour cherry, well integrated light tannins with the med short finish. I doubt this one will get any better with more age and is actually probably starting down the other side for those who enjoy a fruit forward Cali PN. I would suggest enjoying now.

Opened along side a 2012 CT Bacchus and this bottle was an easy winner. When opened this had a huge amount of fruit on the nose. On the palate the fruit, mainly cherry, was still big on the front end with light tannins on the finish. An enjoyable wine; based on this bottle I doubt this will improve much with age so drink up.

Opened along side a CT 2012 Upland and the Upland was much better. This one had a sting from the alcohol and seem to be very acidic. Fruit was there but subdued. Still enjoyable but I will let the rest of mine go for another year or so and see if it balances out.

WOW, this juice has aged well!! Still has good body and acidity to go a couple of more years. Good levels of stone fruit on the front end and nice body throughout with a medium long finish. After it was open for 30+min more citrus showed up still fantastic. Gorgeous deep gold in color this wine is worth laying down for a few years.

Tried one of these on release and it was pretty tight and frankly not very good. 6 months later and it is opening up nicely. Cherry up front with a lot of Santa Rita Hill funk on the back end. Alcohol has a pretty big bite but that seemed to mellow as the evening progressed. Not a bad effort overall and since this wine is sold by the case it is a big relief that it seems to be maturing nicely.
