2 hour decant. Potentially could have used longer. Dark red color. Definitely more roasted red pepper vs green. Dried fruit notes, integrated tannins. Am a big cab franc fan. This is on point.

No experience with Turkish wine to compare to. I would have called it a Côtés du Rhône or Languedoc wine. Mourvèdre and Syrah characteristics dominated. Enjoyable rustic and still has time.

Beautiful ruby red color, still had plenty of acidity and red fruit. Perhaps more new oak notes than I prefer. 2 hour decant.

Needed a 4 hour decant to come into its own.

Citrus mineral and so much lanolin it reminds me of blue cheese.

Not a lot of nuance here considering the vineyard. Blind I might have thought this was a Chalone Chardonnay. Lemon crème in the nose and palate.

Purchased out if curiosity as I am a fan of Tempier Red and Rose. Citrus and mineralogy on the nose. Round mouth for the acidity presented. Similar to à Cassis white. Don’t see it warranting the higher valuation.

Suggest a king decant. This continued to open up. Red currant and sour cherry candy notes. For a young Tablas the tannins are softer than I expected. Very pleasant, but not sure that this will have the longevity of other Esprit wines.

The kind of white wine that makes me question why I have so much red. Straw color, round mouth with good acid and a beautiful long finish of white peach and lemon curd with baked apple. Wish I had a case. Bought on release and stored in my cellar.

Restaurant bottle. Unbalanced and closed. Predominant oak notes and otherwise a bit thin on first pour. Did begin to open up as it sat in the glass and show more fruit and savory notes, so may improve with bottle age and decanting.

Thé standard for Amador Barbera. Has the big cherry fruit forwardness that distinguished California Barbera from Italy. Nicely balanced with good acidity. Easily ageable but fine to drink now.

Poured with no decant. Golden color. Slightly oxidative on the nose with mineral and honey tones. Round mouth and more structure than I expect from a white. Unusual and enjoyable

Mineral nose became more driven by tropical fruit as it opened up. Round mouth valanced by good acidity. Well paired with butternut squash risotto.

2 hour decant. Showing beautifully. Lots of pomegranate, red currant and sour cherry on the nose. Wish I had more.

Could use more time to integrate the oak. An hour in the decanter, the nose blossomed with red fruit a nice round mid palate and soft tannins. Poured half into a 375, but day 2 it was spent.

Bought at the winery and stored in a temperature controlled cellar. Slightly bricking around the edges. Fully resolved with silky tannins. Floral and red fruit on the nose. Very enjoyable. Would be delighted to have more in the cellar.

Bottle has been stored in wine fridge since purchasing. Color is black. Lots of sediment. Nose still has that citrus peel note I would expect from a young Petite Sirah. Still showing so young with lots of dark fruit and tannins. Paired with lamb.

Really nice sweet to acid balance for a desert wine. Opened up as the wine warmed up. Notes of honeysuckle and crème brûlée.

Good QPR. I enjoyed the olive notes which may not be to everyone’s taste. Very drinkable for a young syrah

My favorite NZ sauvignon blanc. More citrus and less grassy than then is typical.

Nettle, gooseberry and grassy notes. Clearly a New Zealand sauvignon blanc with a much smoother and rounder mouthfeel.

Not much nose, great mouth feel for a rose, rounder than a provencal rose. Well balanced with a nice long finish. As mentioned elsewhere - notes of watermelon
