Decanted an hour and did not notice the funky quality referred to in other notes. Like a fine medoc from a good but shy vintage.

Somewhat vegetal and spicy when first opened and decanted. After some air, this really smoothed out and the fruit rose to the surface. Very good complexity with red and blue fruit, spice and resolves yet still somewhat chewy tannins. Not falling off and may still improve.
