Not as good as prior bottles. Still somewhat tannic and fruit is fading, leaving a bit of harshness.

Nice Pinot fruit, medium body. It is pleasurable but lacks the body and stuffing required to really carry a 10-yr old Cali pinot.

Delicious mature Leoville Barton. It has a beam of cassis/cherry surrounded by cedar and still present tannins. This may continue to improve but is drinking very well. This provides a pleasure that is very particular to Bordeaux.

Very good, although still somewhat tannic BDM. Two hour decant and then improved steadily over two hour drinking window. Dark fruit. May still improve in bottle of fruit holds up.

Terrific mature Bordeaux. Light body but excellent balance. Remaining fruit was sweet and present with cedar, tobacco and lilting tertiary notes. Perhaps coming to later stage of drinking window but full of pleasure. Great drinking experience.

Terrific Cabernet blend. Mature, deep burgundy color. Reich smoky fruit with plenty of backbone. Very comparable to a fine Left Ban Bordeaux from the same vintage. Great QPR.

Very much in its drinking window but a long life ahead. Big wine but alcohol is in balance with deep blue/black fruit and firm but smooth tannins. Bramble, lead pencil, fruit, and kirsh. Decanted an hour and did not notice the funky quality referred to in other notes. Like a fine medoc from a good but shy vintage.

This was terrific tonight. Great lift and energy, very smooth tannins, red berry and long finish. No decant, just opened and an hour of air. Like a great premier cru burgundy. Aubert is a very special winemaker.

Somewhat vegetal and spicy when first opened and decanted. After some air, this really smoothed out and the fruit rose to the surface. Very good complexity with red and blue fruit, spice and resolves yet still somewhat chewy tannins. Not falling off and may still improve.
