Bought this for $27 at Tin Barn during a September 2010 trip to Sonoma. Great Cali zin. Pretty dark purple color. Lots of dark fruit and oak on the nose. Great tannins on the long finish of leather and spice...some coffee hints, too. Had with a broiled filet mignon. Delicious!

Nice everyday chard, especially at the $8.99 price point. Nice lemon and butter on the nose. Very crisp and acidic on the palate with more lemon and some grass. Slight vanilla notes. Nice!!

Once again delicious. After about 2 hours of decanting, this zin has a big peppery nose with loads of fruit and leather; even some chocalate. Pepper continues on the palate with chocalate and leather. Glad I have two more bottles!!

I've had the wine decanted now for about 3 hours. It's only gotten slightly better. On the nose there is dark fruit, some earthiness, and pepper. The dark fruit and pepper continue on to the palate. Then it gets hot with a good amount of tannins. The fruit disappears pretty quickly. I guess you get what you pay for; this was $9 on winelibrary.

Great everyday drinking chard. Butter, popcorn, and apple on the nose. Hints of vanilla and more apple on the palate, with honey and light cream. Nice acidic finish. Great QPR too!!

Decent every-night wine. Dark fruit and mint on the nose...a little vegetable elements too. medium bodied wine with nice tannins. tastes and feels bigger than the 13% alcohol content. "hot" finish. got it for $5 at my supermarket.

Good citrus nose. Good acid. Crisp. Slightly light. Good lemon / citrus notes. Had with sushi. Just good! That's pretty much all I can say about this. Nothing spectacular.

Nice blast of fruit on the nose, as well as some wood. Soft on the palate with big, dark fruit...it was also meaty..finished like a steak. Subtle pepper components.

"delicious" nose...just the right amout of butter and oak to the taste. finishes with some citrus notes, but butter/ oak continues to push through longer...very tasty!

Solid everyday drinking wine. Nice fruit hits you upfront. Smooth, lengthy finish. Well-balanced. Great sale right now at the Highway 12 website (~$7).

This was probably one of the best wines I've ever had. Took it to a steakhouse and it paired wonderfully with my ribeye. Great nose full of dark fruit and leather. Long, soft finish. Almost no tannins at this point. Like velvet!
