Visual appeal: Medium ruby with pale ruby on the edge.
Nose: Dusty attic, rocks, leather, smoke. That's cool.
Taste: Plum, tobacco, sour fruit and pepper on the end. All subdued. Not a lot going on here.
Tannin on sides of tongue.
As another taster noted: less than stellar season, cool and wet.

This is exactly what I needed after wife convinced me to attend a Cher concert with her. Actually, the show was rather impressive. As is this wine. Ripe full fruit. Grippy tanins still. Seems to be a bit of life left in this vintage. Might make a decent holiday gift.

Paired with Lemon X Tangerine.
Decanted 30+ minutes.

This pale Ruby Burgundy is floral and earthy on the nose. Strawberry accents and subdued red cherry combined with a bit of smoke. Grippy tannins on my teeth and fresh acidity. Finish was slightly tart with a hint of green. Young.

I would be interested in revisiting this effort in a few years.
