Beautiful. Nose was full of so much - lemon peel, orange blossom, jasmine flower, wet slate, smoky vanilla and sandalwood. Great mouth feel with sharp acidity on the front and rounded tannins. Very amazing wine.

Incredibly bright with high acid to start. Mellows and rounds out with an hour of decanting. The wood is fairly prominent with sandalwood notes. Black licorice combines with tobacco, and ripe strawberry.

Keeps getting better with each sip. Lovely acidity that meshes with nice round tannins. Aromas of cedar, tobacco, anise and bright raspberry. Great on its own but held up extremely well to my homemade chili!!

Raspberry, blackberry, flavors with a synthetic black cherry that linger. Some off putting cooked vegetable that comes through on the palate. Not great but drinkable.

Love these wines. Great value. Smoky oak, pervasive mint and juicy raspberry mix with eucalyptus and black pepper. The palate is soft and rounded with decent acidity. Finish is a bit short. Drink within the next 12 months.

Aromas are pleasing but muted. Some citrus and pineapple with a little bit of dried apple. Acid is way off though. Has that unnatural lemon candy tang.

Aromas of cranberry and black cherry but overall impression is heavy wood that hasn't fully integrated. Its mostly oak, baking spice and clove. Give this some more time or double decant.

This delicious blend of Sangiovese, Cab and Merlot has jammy strawbery, raspberry and plum characters with cigar box, white pepper and pyrazine notes. The acid is nice but the mouthfeel is a little too heavy and gripping.

Very light color. Nose is slight raspberry, mint, eucalyptus, pepper with a punch of french oak. Palate is off. There is some VA that is messing with the finish, making it bitter and disjointed.

Beautiful power and depth with earth, cigar box, and forrest floor notes complementing fruit flavors of raspberry and black cherry. The palate showed a lot of finesse and expressed flavors of asian spices and supple fruit. A beautiful wine that will go the distance.

Lovely aromas of raspberry, lavender and rose petal. Subtle and nuanced, I pick up notes of strawberry, cedar, vanilla and pine needle. Mouthfeel is nice but the tannins are a bit washed out by the acidic aftertaste. Overall, a beautiful wine and uncharacteristic of classic CA jammy, overdone Zin.

Color is rich but not inky and overwhelming. Green olives, black currant, fig, pepper and capsicum flavors. Pretty balanced on the palate with okay acidity and present tannins, but not clinging or overly bitter. Finish is medium.

Honey, peach and floral note son the nose with lemon mixed in. A little effervescence that actually made the wine more interesting. Shoulid go away. This wine is still pretty young and will be better in 1-2 years.

I know CDP should be raw but this was over the top and had a slight sulfide problem. It blew off a bit after an hour or so but never could get past the meaty, dirty primary flavors to get to any fruit or layers. Was a bit thin on the palate also.
Pretty disappointing drink right now.

A decent amount of effervescence on the palate which I'm sure was not intentional but I actually don't mind it. Makes it feel light and different.
