PnP. Strong mineral overtones at first before blowing off. Consumed over a few hours. Nice pepper, toasted oak, dark cherry, tobacco and spices. Only one bottle but would purchase if given the opportunity.

PnP. Tasted over two nights with a vacuum seal, and the tannins are still tightly wound. Not sure what to think. This is the 3rd of 6 bottles on hand. Wait a year or 2?

2 years later and it’s good but not fantastic. It just seems it’s not hitting its stride with all the flavors I tasted back in 2021.

PnP. This has improved. Very dry tannins with prominent tobacco, black cherry, and oak undertones. My last bottle but I think this would be a great open in 2025.

PnP. Honestly first night it was not great. Kind of flabby and just not enjoyable. Thought it was on a serious decline. Next two nights after vacuum seal, it was actually quite enjoyable. Actually tightened up. Simple and fruit forward. But bumped up score two points.

Decanted 4 hours. Wasn’t terrible but seriously not even close to 100 pts. Maybe 90 at best. I seriously think this may have been a counterfeit.

Decant. Very nice. This is quite bold for a Willamette. While not traditional was very delicious and went well with a lamb vindaloo, even with the spicy dish.

PnP. Honestly was better the second day and slightly chilled. I always find Sojourn better with food. They are a little bolder and a little less feminine and are so well complimented by food.

PnP. Agree with some of the previous reviews. Deep garnet color. Light mouthfeel and moderate legs. Blackberry, Anise and prominent oak with some tannins but approachable if not spectacular. Good fireside wine to sip on or with some hard cheeses to soften the pallet a bit.

PnP. Upon initial pour there was the smell of a little funkiness. It blew off in about 15 minutes or so. An hour in a very pleasant offering with soft tannins. Still leads with pepper and toasted oak with deep red fruit, cacao and fairly long finish and touch of smokiness.

PnP. Rating based on future promise. Drank over 2+ hours. Still wound pretty tight. Would decant for at least 3 hours. Better yet wait another year or two. Bright cherry aromas and dark fruit and oak palette but not a lot else going on right now.
