Gained some weight since last, and is at a good point right now. Forest, blackberries and mushrooms.

Mistake to drink already. No complexity yet, but very pure and mineral taste with a big potential. Nothing special about the smell

Still uninteresting at this price. No characteristics, just typical portuguese wine.

Didn't match my expectations. Too sweet and alcoholic. Too modern to my taste. Didn't show the characteristics of sangiovese.

Deep ruby colour. Very good, close to chianti- acidity. Nice cranberry, cherry smell and taste.

Almost as good as the 09, just a bit lighter, maybe more elegant. The same notes, just a bit more aged characteristics. Should last for many more years.

Huge, fruity, earthy smell with hints of tobacco leaves. Almost bordeaux like. Burgundy taste with a distinctive mineral, salty touch. Very good indeed!

Typical top notch austrian pinot. Lightweight, but with loads of raspberry and soil.

Quite dissapointed, mainly because of the level of oak. Might have been drunk too early, but the toast distracted from the overall impression.

3rd out of 6 bottles. More than a year since last bottle, and though it has ripened up a little, it still remains incredibly uninteresting and boring, especially with the price in mind. Too alcoholic and too closed down at the moment.

Starting out like a really good, classic ribera with loads of nicely integrated oak, then fades out after an hour.

Definitely on its way. Not showing any aging characteristics yet and while being quite closed at the moment, it does have a very precise and mineral nose of white tea, chalk and lemons. Mineral and dry yet full taste with crisp acidity. Wait 2 years and it will be a stunner! 89-90 now. Potential 94

Completely uninteresting and irrelevant and way too expensive. Light cherry smell and taste. No depth or complexity which you would expect from a wine at 30 euros.

Not ready yet, but nice to drink nonetheless. Opens up after a couple of hours with red berries and strawberries, chianti-like acidity and just a touch of coffee. Will surely improve with a couple of years.

Nothin stellar. Quite typical, entry level Barolo with restrained, but nice aromas and taste. Quite light strawberry/raspberry style, which I liked.

Not as sparkeling and evolved as last bottle, which had been cellared for the last year at 20 degrees C. This bottle was bought from the store only a couple of months ago and has probably been aged at a cooler temperature. Interesting to see how temperature affects the evolution of the wine.

Horrible QPR. Blind I would have guessed cheap chilean cabernet sauvignon. One dimensional, unbalanced smell and a very thin taste with no oak to compensate. Nothing wrong with the bottle, just a very weak effort - buy the pinot noir from this estate instead.

Entering drinking-window right now. Ripe berries, green peppers and some earthiness with a taste that's a bit alcoholic. If the alcohol mellows out it will deserve a higher score. Keep for at least a couple of years more.

Nothing wrong with this wine, and indeed a very precise and well-defined young beaujolais. It's just not my cup of tea. Loads of beaujolais-like strawberries and raspberries, covered in wet soil and animal smell (almost Northern-Rhone-like). Lacking acidity to make it balanced for my taste.

Very good nose - almost confusable with a burgundy. Ripe red-currant and raspberries and a little earthy/tobacco. Good taste, not overly alcoholic. Sharp, classic italian acidity. 89-90

Beginning to show a little age. Nose full of ripe overripe berries and licorice to begin with. Later, as expected, the nose subdued. High acidity (good thing) for an Aussie. Drunk a few years too early, but still very nice.

Lovely sauternes. Nose of botrytis, honey, pear and pineapple. Thick, coating mouthfeel with a perfectly balanced acidity. Like drinking syrup made of pears. Very long aftertaste of botrytis. 93-94 pts. Interesting to follow over the next 10-20 years.

Bottle best an hour after opening when it showed some beautiful tertiary aromas - then gradually got more and more anonymous.
Very complex Bordeaux-smell of truffles and cassis and some stony minerality from the aglianico. Pure stone and tobacco on the taste. Tannins already a bit smoothed out - hard to tell where this is going.

One year since last tasting and quite an improvement! Almost as if it's gained wome weight. Very typical cab franc nose and taste of bell peppers, herbs and stalks. Hints of aged bordeaux on the nose - leather and barnyard. Very enjoyable and complex right now and definitely a winner at this low price.

Very anonyme, like the name suggests.. Incredibly boring smell, completely closed down and very tight even after decanting 2 hours - Taste is a little lighter than you'd expect from a chateauneuf, but still burns with it's alcohol. Parker 96 pts!!??
